If getting your daily protein at the "optimal" amount only accounts for about 5% of muscle growth, then it's not surprising that protein distribution is shown to be irrelevant in some studies.

I once ate a medium rotisserie chicken mid pm, apx 8 hours had passed and I was under the duvet - I was told I was too hot to cuddle up to. That said - I did feel much warmer than usual and was a lot thirstier. TEF working over time.

Great interview. I am currently half way through but a question arose at this time. He mentioned theoretically if you consumed 200 grams of protein it would all eventually get “used”. My question is, when he says used, does that mean a portion of that protein would be converted and used for energy? And if so, does that mean that the portion of the protein that has been converted and used for energy can no longer be used for muscle protein synthesis?

Whats the grams of protien in pounds per bodyweight. For Americans
@felipearbustopotd5 ай бұрын
We turn over apx 300 g of protein on a daily basis - so nothing that you eat in the form of protein should ever go to waste.

Love your podcast, Steve. But by God, try to pronounce Jorn properly. It's something like Yorn

I know my pronunciation isn't great, but I spoke to Jorn about it & he finds is funny hearing how people try to pronounce it. I always do my best to ask when unsure as my intention is not to offend. - Steve
