I have a 1967 Fairlane that I paid 1,100 for, the seller was asking 1,500.( I know, "WOW") It had 84,000 miles on it. I drive it every chance I get. I live where we have long winters and short summers but I managed to put 181,000 miles on her in 33 years. Yes I do drive it in the rain. No different than giving it a wash. Lol. So what ever you have get out and drive the wheels off it. It still has the original 289. I also installed my own headliner it looks about the same as yours! Lol. I put discs brakes and power steering out of a Granada an aluminum rad, electronic ignition and a tru trac 355 center in the old 8". Rebuilt the C4 with a shift kit. It seems like it will never be finished. I always want to improve on it but I love working on it and driving it even more. Great project. It really is good to see this kind of fabrication on an old classic from such a young person. Fortunately or unfortunately you have been bitten by the muscle car bug. EXCELLENT JOB. Keep us updated please.

Love that Marauder T-shirt! I think it would have been cool to have put an all aluminum Ford 427 Shelby motor in there,,I am also interested to see how your Fairlane turns out.. Cheers!

Loving the Coyote back in the Fairlane an I hope you painted them floorboards before you put carpet down ?

You are 100 percent right!, you and that drive train belong in that absolutely WICKED 66! You have an iconic Ford original muscle car. A friend of mine when we were kids had a 67 390 4 speed. It was black. You can't imagine how cool it is for me to see a young hot rodder like you that are still into real original muscle cars, and not a turner car! I joined your channel. Can't wait to see more!

3:21 mark, that modern V8 looks 'factory' in your Fairlane

Dude I love what you are doing to the car. I have a 66 GT/A with numbers matching big block and c6 I’m debating on switching to a 351 Cleveland stroked to 408 and a Tremec 5 speed with the Farman customs bolt in sub frame. I’d love to see how you did the 4 link. I’m a dirt stock car racer so the 4 link I want to do would actually be straight lower arms with a triangular bar on the top of the 9 inch.

Ya love this car. Love to see you get into this one again. Ever think of just going after the various different Fairlane's and putting the ponies to them? Fairlane's and Falcon's of the early 60's and late 50's... For a cruiser they work as well as a flat out dark horse in a street race [fairlane's that is]. :-) Check out the Shelby American engines the Shelby boys have [updated and enhanced Windswor block designs expanded and modified...

How much was it to get that 5.0 in the car. I have a big body 70 1/2 Falcon I'd like to do a 5.0 or 7.3 in. If it would fit a Barra 6

How so? It was my understanding that Barras were forbidden from being imported to the US

In the first 2 minutes I could tell this was amateur hour. You don't use a stick welder for sheet metal and then cover up all your crappy welds with bondo. lol
