Reviving my Girlfriends SR20 240sx! + RSX Type S Exhaust

Franzy and I decided it would be best to stop driving her 240sx project car once we noticed abnormal oil burning and drivability issues. In a recent video I compression tested the sr20 in her s13 and the numbers were in spec. We have since been collecting parts to refresh and upgrade her project 240sx!
My brother has owned his Acura RSX Type S for just over a year now, and we are finally doing the first mod to it; making the exhaust quieter with a 3 inch vibrant resonator!

Now I have a fully stock g35 drift car and I am going to put a clutch in myself once it gets here. Newer subscriber here. Subbed around the time the roof jig got taken off as the 240 was nearing completion and I wish I started watching sooner! I remember seeing photos of the 240 around when the crash happened and just thought it was another clout chase because of what I was seeing back them. With that being said, I couldn’t have been anymore wrong. I’ve enjoyed every video since finally realizing that. Keep up the great work, can’t wait to see the Gloria back together!

It happens man, no one perfect and your friends will understand you. The real one will know how you feel on the good side and bad side. Also you got a big o'l hug after the dent. And look at it on the bright side. You will always have those friends around you and you will be around them. Stay positive at the moment. tip about the turbo you said if you press it down its grind. its normal bcz you dont having oil flow inside the bearings so the shaft isnt in centre of the catrige.

To be fair, it’s very big to own up to the rant after the drift bump…technically, you probably shouldn’t dwell on it at all afterwards. The car has had a lot of work, but it’s a drift event, so it’s going to happen…and will again eventually. Only other option is a second drift specific car and keep the sx mint for the roads…hard to do both in one car without compromise or risk…! Equally, I love the content and been here since the T bone too, big love for what you’re doing! ❤️

Battery should be disconnected on most newer cars when welding to it or you run the risk of frying your ecu or any wiring better to disconnect as a precaution

I had a question regarding the welder setup, I have the same Hobart and wanted to know why you set the gas so high? From all my experience it should be 15-20 cfm, just wanted to get that info out to see if there is something different I don't know. Just don't wanna see you wasting your gas.

not for a while it seems, he has to find someone willing to pull it first and a fender that bad idk if someone would want to try, and if that route doesn't succeed it's cutting a lot of the car apart again. so if he can find someone to pull it, maybe a month and if car is getting cut again prolly next year

It really made me laugh how you said at the end of that drift event video that people from the drift community deemed your car unsafe. These people probably got cars so rusty, the underglow may work as an interior light but they hate on a serious rebuild calling it unsafe.
