Reviving the Magna: Cold Start, POV Drive & Discussion

In this video, I'll be demonstrating a cold start of my Magna after nearly four months of it being stored. The purpose is to prepare it for inspection for registration renewal. I'll discuss the idle re-learn procedure, which is essential after the battery has been reconnected after being disconnected after a long period of time. Lastly, I'll take you along for a POV drive while sharing some insights and thoughts about the Magna.
Note: When talking about my preference to continue patching up my Lukey sports muffler rather than replace it, I failed to mention that this included fitting another sports muffler from a different brand. Personally, I've always preferred the Lukey's exhaust notes for the 3.5, so I intend to keep it on there as long as possible!

Great to see a new vid of this lovely Magna. Also, are you sure the blower motor fan noise isn’t just a leaf stuck in there? That’s why mine made the same sound. Once I removed the debris the noise went away

Thanks very much GForceVRX! That's a good point; I'll check to see if something in there might be causing the issue. A few years back, I blocked off the air inlet under the leaf guard because the recirculating function wasn't effective during bushfire season. I was commuting between the Central Coast and Sydney and smoke was still getting into the cabin.😕

Why don’t you put a battery trickle charger on the battery. Good video as well mate.

Thanks AJ-Lawn, that's a great suggestion and will certainly help me get on the road much quicker. I've recently purchased a portable jump starter that I'll be doing a video test on soon, but given the car sits in storage for extended periods I'll seriously consider a trickle charger.
