0:56 I've *heard* of it, bit that's about it. Never even seen gameplay.

Wow! what a interesting bit of SF history! had no Idea Revoltech did SF. It's amazing how Revoltech has come a long way. the last one we bought was Gambit, and that was for my Brother. The last Revoltech I got was Monster Hunter Rathalos. I had the Predator, decided to part with him because of the bad proportions, other than that, REALLY neat figure!

About I'd say 13 years ago...Revoltech was right there with Figma and Shfiguarts. The Revojoint was just a patterned ratcheted joint that kaiyodo use to stick everywhere. It made figures capable of doing extreme poses. But never could manage a vanilla pose. If you knew what you were getting,it was fun. But after a while, the gimmick wore off and they had to rebrand to Amazing Yamaguchi. They're now actually trying to hide the joints and improve the look of some figures...they still look awkward in a vanilla pose though 😂. 😅

The Revoltech looked very interesting and I did only give them three chances but all I can say is that even if the Lupin and Jigen figures had the greatest articulation on the planet and I'm just too inept to manage it, it still doesn't change that they look God awful. Particularly compared to Bandai figures. I truly did try to pose Chun-Li and I'm not a newbie to articulation. I'd also add that there is no excuse for the elbow to bend backwards 90 degrees. Thank you so much for the comment and I do love these conversations.

i think the poor articulatio is more a result of mishandling than the joints

@@davidswan5295 this mostly applies on the crotch joints specifically i think, it looks like those old toybiz joints where you need to turn the ball sideways to utilize it properly. Other than that, I really enjoyed the video, i love obscure toy history like these so much, keep going man

Thank you so much. It's comments like yours that keep me going. My channel is not now nor will it ever be monetized so I do this for the love of sharing and I have no need to ask anyone for money. This is a passion for me and I will try to bring more obscure things in my collection. I avoided talking about these figures for a long time because I like to keep my videos positive but I noticed them sitting in a box and I felt compelled to discuss them.

6:10 Likely just to have as many Revoltech joints as possible.

And those awkward proportions aren't great either, due to the over engineered Revoltech joints.

It's clear that there are some Revoltech fans but I really hate this figure. I am shocked that this video of an obscure video game is getting so many views.

revoltech is not for everyone, i have a revoltech ironman and an ultron and i love the ultron,. oh and i only know about the game because those were some of the only decent sf figures at that time

I'd seen Revoltech figures in promotional pics and they looked intriguing. The joints were very obvious but they appeared to have some incredible articulation. However, my limited experience has been nothing but negative. It's entirely possible I've just had bad luck but for me it was three strikes and you're out. I know there are people that have no love for Mezco so to each his own and it's a blessing that there are so many different figure company choices out there.
