Why do you put VA on the left in the beginning and have OLED on the left in the rest of the video? You should label your monitors in the video throughout to Guide your viewers. Thanks for the video though.

You saying built quality on monitors is not important seriously makes the hair on the back stand up. I've wanted alloy housing monitors for years and once you get above 1k €/$ it becomes unacceptable to not have premium quality materials since at that point it's a premium product. it's especially benefitial for oled since you can design in it a way that the entire housing is a heatsink so you can drive the panel harder for more brightness, higher longevity or a combination of the 2. Another reason you don't see so much difference is that this model has a matte screen which kind of ruins oled's (or any display really) in my opinion. Would both of them be glossy for an equal comparison the difference should be even larger than this.

I heard that QD OLED crush black level and more closer to gray (although its uniformity are top notch compared to non OLED a.k.a no bleeding), is that true?

Hey, I haven’t tested any QD-OLED monitors yet, but as far as I know, they perform the same as OLED monitors in terms of black colors. However, I would still prefer an OLED monitor.

Monitor Unboxed had a video on their 4k QD-OLED monitor after ~700 hrs of use with little burn in. It seems to come down to how well you take care of your monitor which to me seems like too much of a headache since I don't strictly play games on my computer.

@@arsenvain I do sleep my computer when I don't use it but I don't only game on it. I can easily clock in ~1,500 hrs on my desktop alone in a year. I may see some little burn in after a year of use.

TV'(+): larger physical size, so better heat distribution, potentially brighter output for longer time and better longevity, smart functions, boy it's priceless to have access to 4K Dolby Vision content at the same as your main computer render something, it also offer usable sound quality Monitor'(+): faster refresh rate, but only at the that time when your computer output enough FPS for it, nice backlighting Both screens have about to same PPI, and same actual panel technology.

As far as i know right now it's not true, there's also many tests, you can watch the video on "Techless" channel about his LG oled monitor after 1223 hours of usage And he also don't have any burn in problems!
