People keep bashing Volvo trucks for supposedly having bad reliability. You know one thing Volvo trucks don't have bad? Safety. That's much more important - a headache is better than death. In fact, I'm sure most people just don't like Volvo 'cause they're foreign. I've heard people who've actually driven one have good experiences with them.

Problem with new trucks nowadays are sensitve sensors that leads to pop-up check engine to your dashboard. Sometimes to much technology installed on trucks may lead to your downtime.

Love the look don't like that Collision mitigation system though it picks up everything and activates the brakes all you need is to be on black ice and it picks up a sign or a car comes across the front of you and it activates and you going to slide out of control

I’m more concerned about the transmission. If Detroit is making it I wonder if it’s as bad as freightliner’s? Those trucks have terrible reverse experiences when the clutch disengages and re-engages it causes the truck to “jump” this causes the cab to oscillate violently. Freightliner (cascadia’s) have had this issue for years and have not changed ( I’ve driven the 21-24) if your truck does this I won’t be purchasing a new Volvo.

What is actually going on here is the industry preparing itself to do away with alleged human type drivers , PERIOD !!!!! Back in the day of the TEAMSTERS the real TEAMSTERS , when Men were Men and Women were damned glad of it , from the days of horse teams right up until the industry put computers in the trucks and changed everything for the worse , PERIOD !!!!! They doubled the amount of trucks on the road , because the hours were cut to a point where the driver couldn't make the delivery on time anymore . Hence double the trucks , cut the alleged drivers pay which also helps pay for the extra trucks . Plus makes the alleged human type drivers into whimppie boyz . The people that I meet today cry if they have to put in more than 8 or10 hrs in a 24 hrour period for Christ Sakes . The WORLD is going to HELL in a HURRY !!!!! Hard times makes Strong Men . Strong Men make Easy times . Easy times makes Weak Men , Weak Men make Hard times , PERIOD !!!!! Learn the Lesson , and Live FREEMEN and WOMEN , PLEASE !!!!! TRUMP 2024 and BEYOND !!!!!
