Thank you for this demonstration, but I’m so confused. We’re told not to use heat, but we’re now able to use heat. What makes this heat tool different than a hair dryer that has temperature control?

I saw on another one of Sandy’s videos where she was demonstrating this tool that she said the difference with this tool as it is specifically calibrated for alternative hair.

you can literally use ANY heat tool on synthetic if it's low enough. unfortunately with that tool you are essentially brushing the fiber over and over and over which is not good for it. people have been using hot air brushes on synthetic fiber for decades.
