Hi there, love the review. I ride downhill (mtb not moto) and i really need some back protection for those sketchier trails. Would you recommend it? Should i go with something more protective (kr-1) or that would be just fine. I ride with a hydration-pack so my back is already really sweaty, I don't care about it. Thanks!

I recently bought this for track and daily use without doing much research. Would I be better off getting a kr1 for the track? I'm doing mini motto racing on groms and riding an rc390 for non competitive track days.

+SlowCarFast. I'd say you're fine using the KR-2. It's rated CE Level 2 just like the KR-1. In fact, I personally prefer having the shoulder straps. -DrewZilla

Hi, my waist to shoulder is 17.25" (43.8cm). According to the size chart I'm on the border of XS-S. I tried on a small and find that when I'm in the tuck the top of the protector is just making contact with my helmet. Also, it covers my tail bone at the bottom. Will it be fine if I go with an XS?
