Wow, Sally is amazing. I’m Hindu, born and raised in the US and have been trying to study Vedic astrology and I get so frustrated with all the gendering norms, the myths of women as demon or fear or a virgin to protect… it’s so toxic. And had been used to as spiritual abuse. And I want to continue my study because the tradition is so beautiful and I’m trying to keep the essence of the teaching without getting so angry at the adjectives, pronouns etc. and throwing out the baby with the bath water. This is uplifting, so ty.
