Julie Kavner never liked doing her voices in person. That’s apparently why she disappeared half way through the Simpsons episode of Inside the Actor’s Studio.

1. Phil Hartman should have done an interview where he introduces himself as "Hi I'm Phil Hartman, you might remember my voice in classic animated media such as The Simpsons" 2. Alot of people believe voicing marge is destroying Julie's throat but in reality she's really just old like Tom Kenny is in his 60's and the voice decline is already starting. Julie however is already 72 she's an elder now. I think at this point they should have her do more non-marge voices

Thank GOD the activists on Twitter got the iconic voice of Apu to stop. The out cry from zero Indian people was not palpable...
@RefugeeKLicious
@RefugeeKLicious Жыл бұрын
Um, actually there were Indian people who found him to be problematic. I’m a fan of Apu myself, but to negate the feelings of others is a highly, privileged hot take. I mean, there’s literally a movie in which multiple Indians voice their opinion on the subject at hand…
@goatwarrior3570
@goatwarrior3570 Жыл бұрын
@@RefugeeKLicious Um actually, the number of Indian people who voiced complaints about Apu could be counted on your toes. Many more Indian comics and celebs defended Apu. Negating the feelings of others is a highly privileged hot take and shows tremendous bigotry and borderline racism on your part. Do better.
@RefugeeKLicious
@RefugeeKLicious Жыл бұрын
@@goatwarrior3570 check your own privilege. The OP said zero Indian people, when there were legit complaints about the character from actual Indians. I personally like the character and am sadden that he no longer gets voiced. But you definitely need to do better, while trying to erase the voice of those who complained…
@goatwarrior3570
@goatwarrior3570 Жыл бұрын
@@RefugeeKLicious Ok the fact you're getting so defensive about this shows just how much privilege you have and you really need to check that right now. Trying to erase the voices of the Indian community is a very obvious red flag that you still hold onto colonialist attitudes of Indian inferiority. Do better and also check your privilege.
