Tekken 5 has some hiccups: Jin should've taken over the Zaibatsu but he should've reformed it in Jinpachi's vision with Hwoarang and Xiaoyu and Eddy at his side. Kazuya finds out Jinpachi dies, goes even more insane until G-Corporation starts World War 3. the Zaibatsu has no choice but to ask the help of Heihachi and Bryan. Asuka who begrudgingly joined the Zaibatsu amid suspicions. is eventually persuaded by a mysterious aide of G-Corporation to join them. although Asuka rejoins the Zaibatsu after realizing Jin is truly fighting to save the world. by the time the Zaibatsu reach Azazel's temple, the mysterious aide shows up and reveals herself to be Jun, who was alive all along, but had her blood infused with Kazuya's and Ogre's. she the ntells Jin to head to France and awaken Eden, Azazel's counterpart and the origin of the Angel Gene. however, at the Zaibatsu headquarters, Kazuya beats up Bryan and Heihachi, figuring out the later two have already header to Eden's Palace and turned her into NANCY-MI847J and that Heihachi plans to do the same to Azazel, however, Bryan only joined Heihachi to figure out his plans with Abel's Bioweapon. so Kazuya and Bryan team up to fight Heihachi while Jin fights Jun and Azazel. later Kazuya arrives in Egypt to settle business with Jin.

This sounds great! The only problem is that it causes problems with Jin's arcs in T7 and especially T8. I think @SociallDrinkerr did a better job of making Jin's character a little better while maintaining consistency with the original narrative.

I definitely dug this version of T6! I LOVE how you managed to incorporate Hwo, Xiao, Lili, and Asuka into the main story since they were pretty inconsequential up until T8 or so I especially love how you made Hwo call out Jin over everything he’s done and I love how you made Jin and Xiao’s relationship more prominent Even better is that you actually managed to better integrate Lars into the story and his inclusion into the Mishima / Kazama schism and how you were able to make Jin retain his protag status instead of making him a full-blown irredeemable heel like how they made him Overall good video all around and I’d LOVE to see you tackle T7 & 8 See you for the next battle!

Jin, Xiaoyu, and Hwoarang are my fav characters in the series so I really wanted to highlight their past by this point in the story! It’s funny, I really didn’t change much about Lars’ arc apart from the end, I really just added a bunch of stuff around it to flesh out other characters and give us a break from him from time to time while also including his significance! You fix Tekken 6 story. This is canon to me now. Explaining Jins Hell turn in a way that makes sense. Developing supporting character characters to be relevant to the story like Hworang Xiaoyu and Miguel. Every character interaction made sense. Every fight furthers the plot and the character. I really love Asuka and Xiaoyu ending and you gave closure to old characters. Best part. YOU SET UP TEKKEN 7 NICELY. Side note I love that Kazuya teamed up with dragonuv and the way he made Jin fight is to mention Jun.

I really appreciate the kind words! Something I really wanted to focus on was the smaller Tekken characters that can and should be just as relevant to the plot as the Mishimas. Miguel’s story has always been super interesting but never fully explored. And since I plan to do Tekken 7 as well, I wanted to set up as best I can with a few changes already in the mix!

I just wanna add to the part where Bruce also gets shock; It's also the fact that him and Wang are sub-boss characters under Kazuya's command. Wang definitely, even though he had bad decisions, is still considered the team's old man to shoulder to. Maybe get a sad flashback to when Bruce and Baek joined in to counter Lei and Law respectively, then Wang talking to Bruce for life advice. Because considering the wise old man trope, Wang and Leroy have the same archetype. Bruce would feel the sting, even if it's just numbers on his eyes.

That would be a really interesting idea! Jun would still have Jin but how would their relationship be if Kazuya still went crazy with the devil gene. There’s still Ogre to deal with and Kazuya hasn’t taken over the devil yet…That’s an idea that has a ton of potential, I’d love to see that explored more!

Very ambitious video. Personally I wasn't a fan of Tekken 6's story for a multitude of reasons but I think you did a good job recontextualizing the story. Even though there are things here I do disagree with, I can really tell you really care for the story and characters here and you worked really hard on this. Nice job. I actually was thinking (and working) on doing my own Tekken 6 rewrite myself as well. (Also, good luck on the Tekken 7 rewrite as well)

I will admit that it’s mostly Wang Jinrei’s death and Beak’s injury. Not saying those scenes are not done well, I think the scenes work for the story that is being told here, I just feel like if Wang is going to die, I think it probably should of been Azazel in my opinion (and critically injure Beak) to somewhat raise Azazel’s threat and to kind of parallel Orge in a way and how he kind of killed or injured some of the older characters though I can understand that would require Azazel to awaken more early and to restructure the climax. I do also think the structure is somewhat of a double edge sword since in one hand, I think it does give more characters time to shine and give more context and nuance to these characters but at the same time, I can see someone finding it somewhat messy at the same time with all these characters but that is more of a byproduct of having a large roster. That also transitions to the fights where you can pick either character where I think it is cool to have all these options and can increase replay value, I do think half of these fights don’t really need to be choosable since I think some of the fights I think would benefit more with a definitive canon winner (mostly when it comes to Act 1) but I get the intention is to somehow get every character a playable shot which is admirable if not daunting though I don’t want to sound like a stickler with these preferences and critiques, this was clearly made for fun and nothing more but I still think it is healthy to have these discussions as long as the two parties are willing to hear each other out in a respectful and constructive way.

⁠@@MetaKnuxXbeats honestly really valid points! I wanted to keep Azazel’s reveal for the climax but I do like the idea of restructuring entirely and having him a threat earlier on. It’d tie well into Wang and Baek’s original endings too if Azazel was responsible for them so I really like that idea. Also I am aware that this thing gets MESSY with several plot lines at once but Tekken 6 has one of the largest rosters with 40 characters and I wanted to show love to most of them, and it’s also the game with arguably the most important/relevant newcomers. Leo, Miguel, Lars, Alisa, and Zafina all have major ties to deep lore so I wanted to include everybody. Bob gets 2nd place and that’s it for him😂😂 Appreciate the feedback though! Really insightful and completely understand

Wow I think Bamco needs to hire you for future story content, this is a much more interesting take on Tekken 6's story and you did a good job of finding a way to include every character so that not everything is just about the Mishimas/Lars and Alisa. Now fast forward to Tekken 8, the one character I want to return the most is Christie Monteiro! She is severely underrated and Bamco have always done her dirty by keeping her moveset identical to Eddy's and having her story constantly revolve around Eddy. So my question for you is: If Christie was to make her return in Tekken 8, what would be her new story and motive to enter The King Of Iron Fist Tournament 8 now that her grandfather has passed away? And how would you write her story so it doesn't completely revolve around Eddy? Maybe Christie Enters TKOIFT8 to win the prize money so she can fund her own capoeira school to carry on her late grandfather's legacy. Or maybe she works as a detective/spy/private investigator in her hometown, using her beauty and charm to come off non threatening (Basically like Charlie's Angels) during one of her missions she poses as a samba dancer to try figure out why the crime rate has gone up in her hometown, only to discover that there are links to the Mishima Zaibatsu and this prompts her to join TKOIFT8 to gain more info for her case. But yeah what do you think they could do with her story? It would be cool if you did a video about this.

It’d be a dream to write for Tekken but until then, fan fictions it is😂 Christie is such a great character and I like the ideas you came up with, especially about her being a P.I of sorts considering that I paired her with Lei for this story. I have plans to continue Tekken rewrites so I don’t wanna give my full thoughts on what I’d do with her just yet for spoiler purposes but I do think she’ll always have a connection to Eddy but her personality doesn’t have to be constantly searching for him. That ties her down to one dimensional and she’s way too good for that! I’d also love to extend her move-set so she isn’t just a clone of Eddy. If they can do it with the bears than they can do with them!!

However, I don't know if she'll be in Tekken 8 after all the drama Harada had with the Christie fans, even though I like Christie, but if she would ever come back, she needs to have a brand new fighting style or she can still have her Capoeira style, but she needs to play differently from Eddy.

I would love to see how things changed in Tekken 7. Sans the battle between Heihachi and Kazuya. The one aspect of Tekken 7 I thought worked was their final battle, refocusing Tekken 7 as more of a requiem for Heihachi Mishina would be interesting. And of course the one thing I would change there as well is MAKE HEIHACHI'S DEATH CANONICALLY PERMANENT! You can have Reina as his successor or some clone bullshit, and of course you can have DLC's with him, but in my humble opinion, Tekken 7 was built up to be Heihachi's swansong, it should've been that way.

Trust me, I HATE Heihachi’s return in the DLC. 7 had a great ending for him, 8 was such a good step forward just to bring him back in literally the worst possible way. If and when I continue more rewrites, he will stay dead 😂😂

This was a WONDERFUL rewrite in regards to Tekken 6! I really got The Empire Strikes Back vibes, in which the good guys suffered severe losses and now has to regroup while the villains was the ones that stood on top at the end despite everything. Man oh man, where do I begin? There's a lot I would like to go over. - First I love how you were able to split everyone off into factions and how they all slowly came together towards the end. I especially love the teams and whatnot. I LOVED Team Xiaoyu. I always wanted Xiao and Asuka to interact, and become friends. It's sad it took to Tekken 8 for them to finally interact. Add that with Lili and that's quite a femme fatale team. You have Lili as The Brains, Asuka as The Muscle, and Xiaoyu as The Heart. I hope they continue to work together. I also have to admit I'm a huge Hwoarang x Asuka shipper so that was good to see. I do hope they interact more and we see their chemistry grow come Tekken 7. Perhaps she tags along with him and Hwoarang injures his eye while protecting her. Also this just might be me and granted you did this for gag purposes, but I think you might have something with Lili and Law. Granted she uses him as her own luggage boy, but I can easily see Lili becoming fond for Forrest, and would be devastated if bad something happens to him. She would never admit it of course, but I think she enjoys his company. And Forrest being the loveable dolt he is, I can see him developing feelings for her and a sense of duty to protect her in spite of everything. - I loved the friendship/partnership with Leo and Steve had. It truly amazes me how these two haven't interreacted and yet they are so connected with one another. I think they'll thrive together should they continue to work together. I do wonder what Steve and Anna's reaction is going to be once they learn about one another's relation. Will she try to develop a relationship with him, unlike Nina? It would give her more complexity to her character as she was considered more warm than Nina. - I definitely like how you made Anna into a cold blooded killer and really gave her justice to her character. She's an assassin and the fact that she killed two people shows how dangerous she is. As much as I like the two sisters, I do feel she is due to have a showdown with Xiaoyu due to how she was responsible for Jinrei's death. She may not beat her right away, but as Xiao matures I think she'll eventually defeat her. Thank you for making her into a formidable player and not a jobber. -Loved how you wrote Jinrei out of the story. Dude went out swinging and died with dignity. Can't ask for any more than that. I'm just sad he didn't get to say goodbye to Xiaoyu, but I'm sure he knows she'll be alright. Speaking of which... -Poor Xiaoyu. I think she is probably THE MAIN person that suffered the most losses during this campaign. First Wang, and now Jin. Granted Jin's not dead, but still. She's losing the people she loves left and right. I do think this will serve as an eye opening for her and will really force her to mature a great deal. By the time she reunites with Jin, I'm sure he'll be taken a back by just how different she is, but also how she's blossomed into a beauty. Because she's looking for Jin, I can see her separating from the others as chances are her first lead would probably go and infiltrate The Zaibatsu, which is where she'll probably run into Claudio and eventually Zafina, and travel with them during Tekken 7 and eventually have a heardfelt reunion with Asuka and Lili in Tekken 8. -I do love the mirror images you were trying to do with Miguel and Hwoarang. I'm surprise you didn't do a different ending for Miguel as his ending in Tekken 6 doesn't fit here imo. I do hope he feels some remorse for hurting Baek. I know he would forgive him, but I can honestly see Miguel and Hwoarang having a rematch especially should Hwoarang and Asuka encounter Jin and thus would have to protect him from the Spinard. Thank you for keeping Jin in character while keeping him as a believable. My only complaint is I think Jin shouldn't have been so hard on Eddie, especially with him giving him the orders to finish off Christie. This was a huge win for Kazuya, and I imagine come Tekken 7 he'll become an even bigger bad, for everyone to unite and take down come Tekken 8. Man that was a lot. Sorry about that. Love your work!

First of all, really gotta give you my biggest thanks possible for paying so much attention and giving so much feedback. Really means the world!! I’m so happy you enjoyed it! I loved writing the “Xiaoyu squad” scenes as I think that team has a ton of potential. Especially on the romance side with AsukaxHwoarang and LilixForest! You saw right through my intentions on those ones!! Something big I wanted to do with Williams sisters but especially Anna was show how deadly they are. Neither one of them really took losses in this mode and it shows how capable they are as fighters. Especially Anna’s wrath as it always felt like she was trying to be more hardcore because she is more warm on the inside. Love how you know that! Also when the sequel comes, I’d love to showcase a Xiaoyu V Anna scene for what’s happened but at the moment, no one except Bruce and Anna knows what happened to Wang… I think the characters I love the most are the ones I put through the most pain 😅 Xiaoyu is one of my favorites in Tekken, definitely my favorite female in the series. So I really wanted to tell a story that revolved around what she needed to go through to get to where she’ll be in the future. She can’t go back to who she was and no one else can after the events of Tekken 6. It’s too grand and world changing, it affects everybody! With Miguel’s tragic backstory, it leaves a lot to be discovered between him and Jin but also his closest allies. So seeing him interact with Hwoarang, Asuka, Xiaoyu; are all scenes that could give a lot of levity to those on both sides! Also I did do a different ending for Miguel around 1:08:05 there’s a lot of video in this thing so I wouldn’t be surprised if some stuff gets forgotten cuz this thing is stupidly long 😂 It was probably the biggest thing for me to change Jin’s character a bit. Give him room for forgiveness instead of making him a genocidal maniac for the sake of defeating a “bigger evil”. I think this way he’s more complex and as far as him occasionally going too far (the Christie/Eddy scene for example) I did do those things on purpose for the lead up to part 2! Somewhere along the way he loses himself and he tries to convince himself he is the good guy while doing us best to play the bad guy and he goes too far. Comments like yours make me glad that I took on this project but gotta give a lot of credit to my editor Nate who did all the blender work to make this thing really come to life! Hope you stuck around til the very very end to get a tease for the future as you can find small bits of what’s to come in another rewrite! Thanks for the love! I do really appreciate it!

fighting games have great stories(capcom outside street fighter 4/parts of 5/overglorifying 2 to it's huge detriment in 6,arc system works & snk definitely being the peak with the only real fumbles being it's bankruptcy shelving things/everyone forgotten to shill ash in 2010's.) and enjoy tekken's characters(actually love another story mode like scenario campaign again as i love the concept.) that it's sad there was a way to continue off from 5 that i really love you went into with this. love xiayou's group(pretty much how i'd love to see them handled.) doing more with asuka/lili including forest(like him being leo in the manga),steve's group & leo being involved(especially meeting steve.). like togu being playable(it was originally going to happen and yeah agree he should've.)/lars and alisa's(compared to feeling when tekken was getting too silly being more natural/wish her grandfather would return as that ending of him seeing her start to come to was sweet.) bond growing. your intro gives a better segway from 5 like zafina having more involvement and the different factions the series should do. for wang think him dying fighting the jacks giving a visual history of him/his care of xiayou and jinpachi would be a good sendoff.(absolutely love him reuniting with jinpachi in the afterlife.:3) to be fair nancy just comes right out of nowhere in the game itself/outside being maybe a hq bodyguard can't see where else it'd be. compared to eren(where the aot tbh deserves being destroyed.) can see what jin was doing & love 8 having jin start a long road of redemption to make up for his lowest point(compared to his father becoming the true villain of the series when he had the chance to change after controlling the devil/heihachi being humanities ambitions going to it's most ugly.) 7 making his actions completely pointless(the entire series/heihachi's sway to even more ruthless than m. bison at times evil being 100% kazumi's fault and zafina's return revealing he completely failed to stop azazel)that him heel turning from the weight of the situation going it's bleakest out of control before his light shines works his responsibility better. like it going into azael's ties to the devil gene foreshadowing it way better especially the clan namedrop/nice detail of the story fight going into the arcade mode fight. definitely hyped to see 7 remade by you as that game REALLY needs it.(love to see yoshimitsu involved in the story/anna interact with maybe start caring for steve considering what happens even if handled better.)

Wow really wanna thank you for paying close attention and enjoying the work! I loved writing the “Xiaoyu squad” stuff as I think that group has a ton of chemistry. Wish I could’ve fit in Alisa/Miharu but only so much time lol I always hate how Steve and Leo have had no official interaction as there’s SO MUCH potential with them given their backstories so really wanted to make that a big deal for Leo’s debut. Honestly I wish I could’ve done a bit more with Wang and Xiaoyu but again only so much time lol Also I really regret not having time to fit Yoshimitsu into the deep lore of this one but there’s so much happening in 6 and I didn’t wanna squeeze him into a random faction if he didn’t fit but I do have plans for him in the 7 rewrite especially cuz Kunimitsu is a thing 😂 but that’s distant future stuff! And don’t worry I have a lot planned for Anna and Steve now that we’ve made the connection of Steve realizing who his mother is. I’m a big Tekken lore fan and only want the best for the characters I care so much about so doing stuff like this is a lot of fun especially when I get to talk about it with others who care just as much as me! One of the few things that Bloodlines got right was the dynamic of that trio! It was genuinely perfect or as close as it could be given the short episode number .-. And trust me I really wanna make Paul more relevant and serious next time around. He’s one of my favorites and I’ll never forgive Bamco for turning him into a comedy gag, I mean he is hilarious but that old rivalry. I’ll never forget his Tag 1 ending and that potential!

I love what you did with Miguel, really. He is my main so I appreciate it even more. Also I dont like Eddy-Jin story arc with Jin holding Eddys master hostage. If we're building Jin like that I think Jin would rather say that he really wants to help his master but can't if Eddy can't uphold a deal (makes Jin look a bit kinder. Just a little).

Miguel’s super underrated and his rivalry with Jin went nowhere in the games! As far as Jin and Eddy goes, I think he does wanna help his master deep down but needs to convince himself to be evil and manipulative about it for the sake of eventually waking Azazel. It’s another necessary sacrifice that adds to the complicated relationship of Jin and Eddy. In my opinion he can’t be 1000% redeemable otherwise there’d be no twist or stakes for his character if he was openly helping people out while also pretending to take over the world. I also think it was a fools errand cuz Jin might’ve known that there was no helping his master as he was too sick but I didn’t really portray that part too clearly.

I've also thought about how to change T6, I completely agree with which T5 endings you chose to make canon, but without changing endings. How I'd do it is Devil Jin. Wang and Hworang's endings are canon (in that order). Even though Asuka's ending still wouldn't be canon, she does turn Jin back to normal after he attacks Hworang. In my version, Dragonuv is responsible for the war, building off both his motivation in T5 and the story of T4, I would reveal that G-Corp stole the Devil-Human Integration Program Data and that's what Dragonuv was working towards in that game. Jin discovers this, leading him to send the Tekken Force on a covert raid in Russia. The raid fails and gets exposed, and Russia uses it to turn the world against the Mishima for being a private company attacking sovereign nations. The UN calls for the Zaibatsu to disarm, but Jin refuses to stand down until the data is destroyed. This starts the war (Also, Devil is manipulating Jin to be more unreasonable, for obvious reasons). In this version, Jin doesn't know about Azazal, but of course, when he's told about him, that becomes his main objective, and the game ends the same way. Another change I would make is that I would also have Tekken 7s story happen in 6. By that, I mean have the final showdown between Heihachi and Kazuya, I wouldn't add the retcons about Kazumi (or I'd explicitly hint at them being lies by having Kazuya see them in the news and say something like "that shameless Liar"), Kazuya skipped T5 because Heihachi wasn't in it, so 6 is where he settles the score. Their final fight still happens at the volcano and ends the same way, but no retcon Monk saves Heihachi (and Akuma isn't canonized in Tekken). Oh, other changes I'd make Beak and Steve's TT2 endings replaces their T6 endings Oh and in the future T8 (now 7 in my timeline) Wang still has his role and isn't replaced by Leroy, and Heihachi stays dead (but only in story, he's still playable no problem and gets a what if arcade ending)

The William sisters feel dangerous for a change, especially Anna, she was really out here killing people😂 would've loved to see Nina get her assassin on but she had other priorities 2. Christie (my fav) got more respect and some relevance with Eddy😁 3. Nina and Steve had a slight moment👀 4. Asuka had some relevance for once 5. Dragunov got to show why he's so dangerous😌 (seriously I'm tired of the "dangerous" characters in this game never getting a chance to showcase why they are deemed "dangerous") 6. Well you just completely wrote out Marshall Law from Tekken onwards. I'll probably edit this comment after I finish the video, but by keeping Forrest out of the hospital, you remove Marshall's excuse for being in Tekken 5 and possibly entering any future Tekkens after the fact. Edit: So Marshall was only written out of T5, but now his motivations for entering T6 and onwards are more simple and straightforward. Glad to see both Laws are not only still relevant but can now offer something to the plot. My only question now is this: if you're gonna insist on making Forrest Lili's unwilling attendant, why doesn't Marshall just fight Lili and demand payment for all she's put him through? Moreover, how much can she pay him to keep Forrest by her side and buy his restaurant and dojo lives back in exchange for his forgiveness over her actions?

I definitely could’ve done more to highlight Marshall’s reasoning for the tournament, his main motivation for me was “win money lolz” cuz he wasn’t a major character here. And honestly the dynamic with Lili/Forest would more so be they don’t like each other but gradually develop a bond so the “paying him” thing is just an excuse that they can hang out. I wanted to retcon his age to make him more closer to Jin/Lili’s age rage to make it less weird as there’s no real reason he needs to be as old as he is apart from the Tekken 1 ending. I figured for awhile I wouldn’t mind having both Marshall and Forest in the games but differentiating plot lines, I definitely need to do more with Marshall next time tho, just didn’t have time to highlight him as much as I could’ve given how many characters there were.

Say what you will about Tekken 6's story but at the very least they tried & they cared which is not something you can say anymore. With Heihachi coming back in Tekken 8, I've completely fallen out with the series. Sure gameplay might be fun but there's no reason to get invested because nothing matters, nothing chages & whatever developments are made will be back peddled & retconned. Why should I care for Yoshimitsu vs Bryan, for example, when nothing has happened with them for 20 years? Speaking of Yoshimitsu, I think he should have been more involved in the plot considering his ties to Bosconovitch. He also has the best dialogue in Scenario Campaign, as it isn't generic sentences that could be swapped with anyone & has unique exchanges with most bosses as it seems like he knows everyone & everyone knows him.

Hi! I'm a fan of Hwoasuka in South Korea. I totally agree with the Asuka x Hwoarang part. If Asuka had a rivalry and friendship with lili, And romance with Hwoarang at the same time, her story would have been better. The characters fighting Jin in the Tekken 6 trailer should had been Asuka and Hwoarang, not lili and Hwoarang.

I like some of your ideas for a better tekken 6 story but i think majority of the rewrite you did is too much and really easy to get lost. So i gonna write what i feel need to be fixed on tekken 6 story. I agree about the factions, it’s actually the best thing about both tekken 7 & 8 story modes but i think you really stack too much factions. Lars and Alisa i think work great as a duo but i think the factions you created are too much. The factions pairing i think needed to be worked in the story are Yggdrasil (Lars, Alisa, Lee & Raven), Mishima Zaibatsu (Jin, Eddy, Nina & Nancy), G-Corps (Kazuya, Anna, Bruce, Jack-6 and i gonna put Ganryu as a joke member), Paul, Marshall & Steve as a team like the original tekken 6, Mardock & King as the original and i gonna put some factions i think need to be. Lili, Leo and Forrest (yeah i think Forrest Law need to be here) as a faction that try to stop both mishimas and a rival to asuka team. Panda, Yoshimitsu and Xiaoyu for rescue Jin. Christie, Lei and Bob for arresting Jin and his partners and for Christie find Eddy. Baek, Hwoarang & Asuka for stopping Jin and a rival team for Lili and Baek want to revenge on Feng after losing him last tournament. I think putting tekken 7 & 8 lore in 6 is kinda stupid especially when you rewrite the story. Yeah i think Tekken Force mode does not need to be the main story mode. The story mode need to be similar to MK9 and DOA5, each chapter you play a character. Mostly Lars & alisa main story i keep the same (just removing Tekken Force mode dialogue or the Lili cutscene because it’s just stupid) i think each faction, i wrote 9 factions so i think at least the main factions (Yggdrasil, Zaibatsu and G-Corps) need to have 15 chapters, the other teams (team xiaoyu, team lili, team lei and team asuka) need to have extra chapters as unlock after beating the main chapters. And the Paul & King teams are post game extra chapters because they gonna gave a separate story than the main story. The only thing i would want to see change is Miguel going to the dark side and getting obsessed with Jin so much that he actually works with the Devil (Kazuya). This doesn't even sound like scenario mode anymore. Instead it's more like Mortal Kombat 9's story mode with some beat em' up levels. It sacrifices gameplay, fun, and content in favor of story and cinematics. People play scenario mode for the gameplay. Also, why tie it to Tekken 7? Tekken 7 is considered to have the worst story in the series.

“Essentially I wanted to write my own Tekken fan fiction and this was an excuse to do so” I definitely made this thing lore heavy as my big focus was on changing the story. I’d like to think I included enough variation as far as Tekken Force, 1V1s, “Endless battles”, and surprise tag modes to give players a more enticing time during gameplay. It’s got at least more variation than the original but it is make believe. Also I tie it into 7’s lore because I plan to rewrite that one as well just down the line. Trust me, I hate Tekken 7’s story as much as the next guy

Tekken 8 story was pretty good but the DLC was Okay, but confusing and Controversial and got a lot of backlash Hopefully tekken 9 Fix a lot of problems Also What they’re going with Story Reina Takes over Mishima zaibatsu Dismantle G corporation Merge the two under the new Army And then she’s killing some tekken characters And convince some of them to join her Army jin and ling Get married Honeymoon and everything else however, untilAsuka Lili Anna Williams And the other cast show up to Warning jin About We’re all being hunted down by her arrest warrant, including you and ling Xiaoyu Both Shocked And Raven The only one stopping her is us we need you back Jin We got the rebellion Everyone on your side.

Definitely agree that 8’s story was solid right up until the DLC, mainly for bringing back Heihachi but that’s just me lol I think Reina becoming a “Homelander”-esqu villain and hunting fighters down is a super cool idea though!
