Suffered the most? Luke was an orphan who literally had his aunt, uncle, and mentor (me) die in the first movie. Then he lost his hand and immediately found out the most evil man in the galaxy was his father. Anakin was born a slave with no father, his mother was killed (she died in his arms), and he was so afraid of losing his wife and unborn kids that he literally committed genocide in a desperate attempt to save her. Then he ended up losing his wife through his own actions, lost 3 limbs, burned in lava, and now he needs a robot suit just to breath. Until his very last moments Vader is a broken host of a man who's enslaved to the Dark Side and all the guilt that he brought upon himself. There is no planet on which Rey suffers more than Anakin and Luke. You can say Rey has an adorable personality but that doesn't mean she's suffered or deserves love more than anyone else.

I can respect that. Rey is a very poorly written character. And I would know because I am a budding author and I understand what could have been done better to make her interesting and relatable. That said. Daisy Ridley is just naturally a likeable person and that transfers to her character. And a dorky character can be pretty fun to watch when it's done right.

Rey's personality is great, the problem is she never really evolves as a character anything. She never fails and learns from that failure. Compare her to Luke and Anakin and they are much more interesting and realistic characters because they failed constantly in their trilogies and either suffered the consequences or learned from their failures to become better people.
