Thank you all for watching and for the overwhelming positive support. This tribute means a lot to me and this channel and I knew before starting this project that it needed to elevate and add to the original, otherwise I wouldn't do it at all. Luckily, I was fortunate enough to bump into 2hooks Music and their incredible remix of the iconic Tessa soundtrack used in the original Chosen One tribute. After their blessing and partnership, I decided to integrate their track into this tribute and the rest was history. I'm so proud of how this turned out, and I have amazing people like @davidburgess (An amazing graphics artist here on KZbin) and 2Hooks Music who added towards the quality of this tribute. Most importantly, I have all of YOU to thank for. You guys are the best followers any creator could ask for. Thank you so much for sticking with me after all these years, sharing your comments, liking, sharing and spreading positivity within this wonderful fandom. I couldn't have done it without you. If any of you would like to get to know me better apart from this channel and watch me play games & react/discuss movies & TV shows, I have another separate channel called "Matoose" here on KZbin. It's a channel that predates "HFP" and is a place where I just have fun and talk about things I love such as Movies, TV shows, and video games. The Channel is HERE - www.youtube.com/@Matoose If any of you care to join me, feel free! It's a great buffer of content while you all wait for my next project here on HFP. I'll see you there! @@based4560 It's rare that ANYONE either didn't have a difficult past or has crazy disadvantages in their life. But 2 main points. 1. Accountability. Why didn't he ever check himself? Making others' lives suck! Nobody has the right to continually make others' lives a living hell just because they are damaged and unwilling to do the inner-work. For example, he made Obi-Wan's life SUCK! With your reasoning, Obi Wan was repaid with bad for good and should have said "screw it, no one matters and I'm gonna lash out." This has got to be the greatest edit for a character ever! You and thr team did a perefct job with all the parallels, and editing and telling the story just using snipits of lines from the movies and shows, it moved me to tears how grwat it was!

Your productions remind me of how great and compelling Star Wars truly is. Anakin is my favorite character in Star Wars and I watched the original version of this dozens of times. I didn’t think you could move me to tears again, and here we are.

I think the worst part is, the people who reacted and cried to the original won’t react again. And I’d kill to see their faces after this amazing remaster.

"Anakin is gone. I'm all that remains." -Vader And yet in the end Anakin proved he was still there
@Jonathan83X5 ай бұрын
Anakin was always there within him that whole time. He tried to run and hide behind his Vader persona to bury his past and pain as a way to cope, but as it is in real life, no one can run from their past forever. Anakin was forced to deal with his past once Luke showed up because he embodied the spirit of Padme, the very one he loved more than anything.

Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader will always be the Chosen One and the greatest hero/villain of Star Wars! Period.

DUDE! This perfectly encapsulates the story of Anakin Skywalker! The image of Padme dying is such a good catalyst for Anakin to finally turn against the Jedi, and THEN TO SEE THE TURMOIL THAT ALLOWS HIM TO REJECT PALPATINE! Masterful storytelling, get this man a job at Lucasfilm already!

His mother, dead His student, left him His loved one, gone forever For his brother, he grew hatred against him His home, burned to ashes His friends, murdered by himself His beliefs, used against him His soul, corrupted by anger and fear His hopes and dreams, destroyed forever From this young boy, who had dreams to become a jedi, to free slaves and bring freedom across the galaxy. Who`s destiny was to be the strongest and the most powerful jedi ever, so he could bring peace to the galaxy and balance to the force. He was a happy man with a wife, and was about to become a father. But his beliefs forbiddet him. And nightmares about losing his loved one, made him to make a deal with a demon. Because of his fears, fears that drove him into despair, he lost everything he ever loved and dreamed of. And his own anger, took his beloved one from him. And his hate towards his brother, who always loved him, was his downfall. And he was left behind burned and destroyed. Only leaving behind a shell of a man, who's soul was filled with pain, fear, hate and suffering. But the demon that he made the deal with, was the only one left, whom he would return to. But he was no longer the same man he used to be. He became cold, dark, unforgiving, ruthless and feared across the stars and one of the most feared man in the galaxy.The right hand, the puppet of the emperor. A slave of the dark side. For years, his only purpose was only to bring chaos, fear, suffering and death. For he had nothing. No love, no hope and no reason to live. Only serving his master. And punishing himself with anger and hatred towards himself. But... when he heard about his son. He felt something. Something that he forgot many years ago. He felt... hope. And love for his son, through a great sacrifice, he defeated his nightmares and demons. And brought balance back to the force, like he was meant to do. For his entire life, he was a slave. Slave to the Hutts, slave to the Jedi's code and slave to the dark side. But in the end, when looking his son, with his own eyes, he was no longer a slave. He was free. He was called with many names. Son, student, husband, master, friend, brother, father. He was, Anakin Skywalker. The chosen one....

This is beautiful but I still prefer the ending to the original of Anakin telling Luke "You were right, tell your sister you were right" about there still being good in their father and how Anakin was still somewhere inside Vader

When I felt myself falling into active alcoholism I became obsessed with Darth Vader and these types of videos on KZbin. I related his fall to the dark side to my fall to alcoholism. I used to be like young Anakin in the Phantom Menance, a bright happy young boy full of dreams and now I was a man where I could see my life slowly start to fall apart, being in a state of either drunk or hungover, the dark side changing me into a bitter, sarcastic, angry, restless, depressed person. Anakin losing his wife through his own failures was a metaphor for my failing marriage (note I wasn't physically abusive like Anakin) and I was pushing her away. I would get wasted drunk and watch these 'fall to the darkside' videos over and over again and just cry. I'm happy to say I'm 2 years sober next month and I'm thriving. I literally chose the light side and every single moment I'm full of this all encompassing Buddha-like joy and wellbeing. "You were right, tell your sister you were right"

I love that you ended it with Qui-Gon saying “You will find another way”. He knew that no matter what happened, in the end Anakin would still make the right choice. Qui-Gon was always Anakin’s true master and the father figure that Anakin needed and looked up to. He believed in Anakin till the very end, even after death, as a Force entity. “I believe you bring balance to the force and save the universe.” It’s unfortunate that Qui-Gon got cut out of the picture so early. I truly believe that under his guidance, he and Anakin together would probably have discovered and foiled Sidious’s plans much sooner and avoided the destruction of the jedi.

Thank you for showing us Anakin Skywalkers story. I feel like i don't have to explain anymore why he is my favorite character, I could just show them this video. This made me cry like a baby because I know the pain, the suffering, the lose of someone you love...i sometimes feel like i am living Anakin's life but I will not turn into the dark side. Thank you again for this beautiful video. - Menny
