bellmeisterful I don’t think she’s responsible, everyone is held accountable for their own actions. Sometimes a parent can do the best job in the world and their kids still turn out like Ted Bundy. I’m only disappointed because of her being upset and surprised about the amount of time he got for such a horrible crime. Like what did you expect when your son rapes a 91 year old ? A slap on the wrist?
@bellmeisterful5 жыл бұрын
@@crystal3088 yeah this is the old debate about how much impact does upbringing have versus ones personal choices. I personally believe that upbringing has a very large amount of impact. When a young man sees his father treat his mother horribly, its the exception that the kid doesnt grow up to do it himself. They usually do.
@crystal30885 жыл бұрын
bellmeisterful nature vs. nurture. Outside influence vs. home environment. I get it, but you can’t blame rape and beating up an old lady on upbringing in a house unless he himself was being raped and beat up on a daily basis. Or even occasionally. I just don’t believe his upbringing had anything to do with his behavior simply because the mother was there to support him. Even if he is dead wrong. This shows she does love her son and cares about his future. This was solely his actions. ** dad probably wasn’t there because he agrees with all of us that this was shitty thing, and disgraced them.

Now would it cure them?Probly not!.But it would certainly give them something to consider,because Prison time is just interpreted as a occupational hazard,& certainly not as a deterrent for certain individuals!. ...p.s..It worked for the British Royal Navy,for many yrs .
@traceymarrero15422 жыл бұрын
@@jerryoshea3116 that plan sounds pretty good to me. If they started doing things like that it may deter people from committing crimes to begin with. People are not scared to be in jail. It's FREE ROOM AND BOARD. What people are scared of is having their life beat within one inch from dying. They need to be held down and electrocuted for hour upon hour. Make them suffer for weeks on end for their punishment.

If they had remorse they wouldn't commit the horrible crimes in the first place. Stop playing the remorse card in the courts , that shit doesn't fly anymore.

It should be made common knowledge in the prison where these individuals are sent what they did and who they did it to.

If they'll do this to an elderly woman of 91, what will they do to a 19 year old girl whose vulnerable and without protection. Do you really think they've learned their lesson? No. They'd do it again in an instant.

Shouldn't be too hard to arrange for more charges once they act up in prison. Turn that 30 years into life without parole by the time he's 21.

It amazes me when parents, in this case is the mom, begin loudly crying for the way things turned out. Her responsibilities to her son started AND ended the moment he was born. No moral compass, no love, no dad.

Good reason to homeschool. Evidently the public school system failed them too, but people only blame the parents, as if the schools aren't spending the majority of time with them (or close to). If the child is truly the parents' responsibility, parents ought to take full responsibility, including the education of their children.
@JudeCooper5 жыл бұрын
aChristian4RonPaul Many parents can't afford to stay home with their children to homeschool. You are also assuming all parents are qualified to teach their children a K-12 education. Many child grow up in homes with parent who don't have a high school education.

@@JudeCooper Exceptions prove the norm. I understand that some situations won't allow for it, but almost all would. Almost everyone can (assuming they aren't a single parent), but it may mean making sacrifices in order to do so. It's a good reason to not get divorced and itgives you great purpose, which further causes the family to grow close together and have relationships that are loving, caring, and nurturing. The parents could teach their children everything they know and also teach them to be self-learners from young. Even if they don't have a high school education, a child can take online classes at that point and the parent could take the class with them. Or the parent can work at getting a high school education as they are teaching their kids while young. Everything's possible.
