A quick note about this video: It ballooned to an unmanageable size, so I decided to split it in two. Wow. That title screen music? It's somewhere between Anastasia's ballroom waltz and Final Fantasy XVI's Eikon fights. And the Collector's Box? Beauty incarnate. You know, I've seen all sorts of reviews about this game, but I've enjoyed casually watching my friends play it. It's got plenty of Kingdom Hearts and TWEWY vibes that I positively adore. Does it look revolutionary? No...but I don't always need that. I always appreciate how willing you are to give EVERY game a fair shake and appreciate aspects of a game, such as its breathtaking artwork and music, so I'm excited for Part Two. I haven't played KH or Lost Odyssey myself, but for some reason the music played here made me think of Lost Odyssey. I see that game's composer was Uematsu however.

@@sir_hammy Interesting. I actually just now read an interview with Shimomura about her work on Reynatis, and she said the challenge was to not repeat what she'd done in other games, but try to capture Mr. Takumi's own personal vision of the game and its story.

I ordered the Limited Edition as well, but have yet to get a shopping confirmation -_- i am excited about it. i enjoyed the demo. i know reception has been mixed, but i really enjoy a lot of rpgs that get criticism 😅 i think its because i can be more forgiving of flaws if there is another aspect im really drawn to.

Yes, I'm the same, and I see a lot of people who feel like that on my channel. 😀 People have very different tolerance levels for certain flaws or annoyances in games. I try to take that into account - but in the end I can only talk about my personal experience. I'm sure you'll love the LE when it arrives. Which platform are you playing on?

I watched my friend Kommi play the demo recently. It was ok. The music is not bad. But my main point for not buying the game is the font size. It is just so small! But I have a gargantuan backlog anyway and need to work on it. Btw, my appointment went welll. I just need to wait for a month now for the lactose test. I need to make sure to eat enough food for now. I also bought some more maple syrup for my caffeine addiction. And new cleaining gloves so I can clean my dishes. I want to play games. Why is adulting so hard? I hope you have a good day Britta. I myself can not wait to finally play Tales of Graces next year. And Lunar. So many good games! Now I just need another Fire Emblem game. Kai no Kiseki is also out in Japan now. It has a certain moment. I hope it comes out in English soon. Even though I think people should not play this as soon as possible. I do hope Daybreak is fun to play. I just need to get there first.

Please be sure to try the demo! It covers the first 2 chapters and is the best way to find out if you'll like it! I'm afraid mention of the demo as well as a lot of other stuff got clipped bc I'm preparing an in-depth discussion video about Reynatis. Should be up sometime next week!

I picked this game up physically for the Nintendo Switch and I was dissapointed when I put the cartridge in and saw that the update for the game was over 6 gb in size. So the full game is definitely not on the cartridge.
