I stumbled across Rezz 2018 EDC set by accident and loved it. Her beats are so hypnotic as she says and very elegant, from some reason it reminded me of on of my favorite on Nine Inch Nails albums I used to love as a kid, but with a modern more electronic vibe. Hearing her say she wants to do vocal collaborations, I instantly thought Trent Reznor!

I think Tiësto is a huge influence not only for Martin Garrix and her, but also for big DJs like Hardwell, Nicky Romero and Avicii. Back in 2004 Tiësto was the only well known DJ around the world.

At this point, Tiesto is just copying the kids (namely Garrix) that got famous off their inspiration from him. He can do what he wants and he has been in the scene for ages, but sometimes it really does feel like he just dropped everything that made him Tiesto to follow trends and push his _'brand.'_ I mean, Garrix must feel like a God having his hero basically end up copying him in the end. Hats off to him, but I'm not sure what Tiesto is thinking.

edm for me: Deadmau5 got me out of a bad depression then came daft punk and then skrillex (old) then rezz came around and i wanted to do midtempo now i want to blend the three genres i once knew into a new genre so taking disco ish music from daft punk and go and make it into (a bit more future funk style tho) then take deadmau5 experemental nature and go for house beat and then skrillex format drop and growls and the midtempo hypo of rezz and make it a new genre my goal my true end goal is to make music that hopful someone in a very bad depression state of mind finds and gets out of it then wants to create a new genre of there own to help someone else, yeh know.
