So far the RF01 Pro tennis racket seems very good to me, it works like a cannon (I don't get short with a little energy, I can keep the ball close to the baseline in displaced situations) and with good control. The strings are Luxilon ECO Power 1.25 mm, string tension: 20 kg and 19 kg. For one hand backhand , forhand cross hitting very good. Serve is bomb strong. The racket is stable. Worth trying lower string tensions!!! I think like the sweetpoint is also much bigger at lower string tension , because I had no problem with it.

@@stantheman1893 My previous racket is Head Boom Pro Auxetic 2.0 (2024) . My new racket is RF01 Pro. It is true that you have to pay more attention to the accuracy of the shot, but it is very worth it because with this racket I can hit the target much more accurately (even on the serve, which is great). The power of the racket excellent. For the net hitting game, it's very easy to hit the preparatory shots, you can place the ball accurately without any substantial spin. This is a wonderful racquet.

Personally I really in love for RF01PRO. I am playing with it since 2 weeks, and coming from PS97S and PS97 315gr, I find this one super fantastic. Free power, easier to move, super precise and great control. Of course need clean technique and to be physically prepared, but even if demanding it'll give back a lot. Very solid and amazing on volleys, flat groundstroke and slice serve.

What this racket does for me is really good. It adds power without messing up control. Specially on days where im not super high on energy. I can hit the ball casually and still get 15 more mph than with my ps97. When i decide to go for my big shots i get a tone of spin which is great. Only problem i am having at the moment is with my serve and backhand slice. If i can fined a way to tune those two strokes than i will stick with this racket.

@@gladiatorstribe Do you guys at the pro level ever use the low to high swing motion to drive the backhand slice with using the racquet edge for pronation? Because I use that type of flat slice when wanting to drive with pace to remove all the float from out of the ball so that it shoots it all through the court dipping it quickly over the netcord instead and that's how I deal with these low difficult skiddy balls in the court instead of just dinking them or floating them back with the normal backhand slice or digging those balls up under the racquet swings which can cause the ball to fall weak and short in the court and sit up.. To me its not all about the many different racquet brands or the many different types of strings or different tensions there are hundreds of them out there but at the pro level these things will probably matter more but to me who is only just at the club level all i worry about is what part of the racquet I'm using to drive the ball with.

playing ATM with a tester for about 1 1/2 week, The normal 01 300g is way too light and for me I overhitting with it. But The 320g Pro. Damn. I straight ordered 2. what a beauty of Racket. So much Control, Spin Power and moveability. Feedback of the Frame, its just perfect. The Old Pro Staff RF97 which I played before is nothing for an Clubplayer/Tournament Player. Then I switched to the Pro Staff X v14. This was a ton better. But now. I got I manageable modern oldschool racket. It gives me everything I need. Not perfect at all. Its not a Racket for absolutly Spin Player. Not a Racket for Power. But it produces everything on a very very high average. This is amazing. First I was scared about the weight as the 340g from the RF 97 Autograph. On good days, when swinging good, when your timing is good the weight is not that big problem. But I was scared what is when a "bad" day occures. And the RF 01 Pro does it great. You can handle the Frame WAY WAY WAY easier then the Pro Staffs or other boxed Frame Control Racket. So even on bad days this Racket does its job. I noticed, when you got a bad day, you need to swing kind of slow (but through Of course). Just guard your Swing through the ball with no haste or with overpowering, then the Racket shows you everything. The Racket will do the Job. Overall you can Say you need a very very clean technique. Not the best as the Pro Staffs required but you need a solid clean technique. Nothing exotic with tons of stupid spin and so on. Just Through. The Racket will do it and generate a solid spin with control and power.

I think this racquet is mostly aimed at people who already use control frames. I am a ProStaff user and the racquet felt pretty good to me. Only complaint I have about it is that it is a bit slow on the serves. I liked it with freshly strung Alu Power at 53 lb, but once the tension dropped it started to suck. I would string it up to around 56 or 57 for my taste. Did I like the Pro more than my PS97 V14 or my TF40 18 x 20? Nope. I do customize my racquets. Just 2 grams at 12 on the PS and like 10 grams at the handle of the TF40. Also, the plain RF01 stock is pretty bad. It needs weight everywhere.

Let’s get honest. People want that racquet because of Federer’s endorsement. I doubt he really had am active participation in its design. Probably, he had some hitting sessions and provided some feedback. Wilson’s engineer had a previous project of a more user-friendly control racquet. Nothing more than that. The racquet is as unforgiving as the Pro Staff line models. I would stay with other options in the market: Yonex Ezone 98, Tecnifibre Tfight300, Head Radical MP. Please, guys, don’t buy a racquet because the player who endorses it. Buy a racquet because it adapts to your game. The gladiator is the first honest reviewer of the racquet.

The original RF97 is a great heavy frame but too stiff for that weight and in the wrong hands leads to injury. RF01 is basically a rebrand of that with some minor tweaks and a "cool (and B/S) story" behind it. T-Fight 320 is fantastic at 95sq inch and you can really unleash ground strokes with it with little fear of bone shattering stiffness. At some point you have to compromise and get good right? Stiff commercial racquet that gets the ball over the net easier, or work harder for better groundstrokes with a more comfortable frame thats harder to use. The noob always goes for the pretty colours. I've hit with a heavily modded GAMMA racquet with all the tweaks including the silicone and it was just levels above anything retail.

I tried it in 2 string configurations: Hybrid gut + luxilon element @ 53/56 lbs and full poly Alu power @ 47 lbs. All of them were 1.25. The full poly setup was just so much better feeling. There's a lot more leniency even in comparison to the hybrid with gut in it yet doesn't sacrifice too much in the power that gut offers. I do not think this racquet plays well with string setups in the 50s, it's definitely better in the high 40s IMO.

Im just a bit confused, you begin the comment pretty negative and you are actualy positive on a lot of aspects. Youre racket of choice the head pro is a dead board off centre and also for real advanced players…… perhapse you also got a Little bit caried away on the hype but on the negative site? I think you should do the test again without the adrenaline and we will find out wether you stick with it or change.?

U need to atleast be an average level player to use pro rackets . I recommend the 10 dollar Walmart rackets for u

I demoed this racquet just to test it, and I am SOO glad I didn’t buy it. It felt like brick in a way, because it was very hard to play with spin, and to generate pace. My spinny strokes felt very flat on this racquet. I would HIGHLY not recommend this racquet to anyone

So because you don’t like it you think no one will like it? 🤦♂️

I stated that “I would highly NOT RECOMMEND”. This doesn’t mean that you wouldn’t like it, but that it wasn’t for me
@sebastiandomagala92332 ай бұрын
This thing is called "RF pro" for a reason. You are not Roger, nor are you a pro, so that racquet doesn't fit you. But it fits me like almost no other racquet does. And many others as well. It's not that the racquet doesn't suit you. It's more like you don't suit the racquet.

Your footwork looks terrible on clay. You look like a club 4.5 player at best. Racket won’t make a difference for you. You need a technique overhaul
