@@sanjaybasappa sure! This incident was from when my mom n dad were traveling from Warangal to Hyderabad on a passenger train the next day after their marriage. My grandfather was the loco pilot of this train. Typically passenger trains are always late to their destinations, but for this particular trip my grandfather wanted to make this ride special. He wanted to give the new couple some extra time for themselves so he turned the 3 hr ride to a 5 hr ride. While my mom n dad appreciated his gesture, the other passenger were absolutely furious 😂

@@deborshikashyap6745 sorry for spelling mistake word should be "that" not 'thai' 😅 Notch is the position of the throttle on a Diesel-Electric locomotive. actually it is an accelerator use to accelerate or slow down the train , it has mostly 8 position. higher number of notch means highest torque and speed . in modern trains some notches are inbuilt with dynamic brake. if we decrease the notch from ideal position dynamic braking will occur
