@@qwoozy I heard on another channel that leaving your Tesla in the sun on very hot days is bad for the battery. Is this true? Have you any product recommendations for whole car covers? I holidayed in central Europe in July and the temp topped 39/40c [102/104f] on many days.

@@mnmurtagh I'm definitely not a scientist but I think the main temperature related damage to batteries comes from charging while it's either very hot or very cold. But the car is pretty good about regulating battery temp on its own. It gets pretty hot here in Vegas and I haven't had any issues at all with the temp. I do notice higher consumption in the summer that doesn't seem entirely related to HVAC use, I'm pretty sure it's coming from battery conditioning in the first 10 minutes or so of a drive (cooling down the battery,I think). I've seen usage spike to 450-500 wh/mi during that time, then it drops down to a more normal 300 or so.

I’m digging the VION!!!! I have one question about the one piece Rimcase/Vion curb rash protector. If I hit a curb won’t it pull off the entire piece? And how does the one piece compare to the multiple piece that comes with 20 pieces per wheel. If you hit a curve, it’ll pull one piece off and if you order an extra one, you can just replace the old piece with a new piece. Trying to make a decision as to get the one piece or the multiple piece option. Go VION!!!!!

I haven't run mine into a curb to figure this out but it would damage the piece and you would have to replace on of them. I have used the one with multiple pieces and the colors don't match and they are hard to install so I prefer this product. It's a lot cheaper this way too. Just curved my rims. I’m getting this VION wheel cover. The price is really good for 109 for 4. Another great video. Side comment for the 3d mat customer service, i message on IG no answer. I bought mine for my model 3. It’sa really good product, just had problem resting foot corner folding. I sent them message on their IG. I bought a different one half of a price it looks garbage now. Can the spoiler easily be removed if I later chose to do this? It's a leased vehicle so not sure if its a good idea to use adhesive over the original paint.

Literally stumbled on your channel. Have a TMY on order and will be purchasing a few accessories. Question: As regards the Vion rim protectors, one youtuber showed that if the tape is put per manufacturer recommendations, they are not a tight fit. He recommended that pieces of tape be stuck Between the slots for the rims to adhere tightly to the wheel without a slight gap. Your thoughts and recommendations, please. Thanks.

I think there should be a tray that you can find for the front of the console for your 2020 Y. We have a 2018 3 and we have trays that were common online that will fit in there and I think the Y should be the same. Our 3 has the same flip lid as yours being from the same console era.

VION - Hi Ben, I’ve watched pretty much all of your reviews and bought much from your linked vendors. Would like the spoiler but my Y car cover from Tesla is so snug I’d worry that over time the cover would work to loosen the adhesive on the spoiler. Oh well, my bad luck. Anyway, VION consistently fulfills/ships very quickly and the one time I had what I thought was an issue, VION worked with me to resolve it. Can’t say enough about their team👍

We put the VION wheel protectors on our Model Y LR. They weren’t quite as easy to put on as advertised,but we did get them on and are happy with them. And it’s my husband who curbs the tires, not me!

I bought the VION rim covers, the usbc cables and the dash mount phone holder. All great products. The rim covers, I probably didn’t need, but they were an inexpensive protection. I also bought the umbrella front window screen.
