I like Ichiban and co. but seeing Kiryu get less screentime than potentially one-off party members is irritating. Without Kiryu and Haruka the series would quite literally not exist, the only reason Nagoshi could get Yakuza greenlit was with the idea of a tough and grizzled Yakuza with a kid by his side.

And, regardless of the title, Kiryu is simply not the main character anymore. It'll be like complaining Estelle Bright doesn't get screentime in the latest Trails games.

I'm very excited for kiwami 3. Y3's battle was very rough and the engine was too old-fashioned. There were a lot of inconveniences, to be honest. If the pirate yakuza's battle is successful, it's possible that the kiwami 3's battle will be much better in a similar way.

nope, this was shown in new rgg summit which means IT IS for the pirate game, just like with rgg summit fall 2023 where gaiden and 8 one was shown and then USED IN GAME. LOL 🤣🤣🤣🤣🔥🔥🤩😛
