That is a really beautiful place Robert! You really going the distance for us and for yourself. Like you I always made work and home two totally separate worlds. I always told the hands that worked for me that way the truck door opens on location home does not exist and when the truck door closes headed for home, the drilling rig does not exist. Hey Robert. Congrats on the new workspace. If that studio is in a different location to home, please make sure your security is like Fort Knox, mate. We all see what gear you have in there, so criminal folks can see the opportunity if you now only work there & not onsite24/7 as you would at home. It's OK to trust folks, *until* someone starts stealing stuff. And whatever you do for security, DO NOT detail it here. It's great that your association with Sweetwater has enabled you to get those London acoustic panels up as that room was lively as... . Way to make the leap! There’s are pluses and minuses to working at home. Some people love it, others can’t make it work. Kudos for taking steps to make things better for you and your family! It looks great and the sound treatment really makes a huge difference in the echoing. Video idea: Now you gotta show us what the spare bedroom looks like without all your equipment crammed into it. I’d also love to see which guitars you kept at home and hear why you picked them to stay home. Btw, your hair looks amazing! What have you been doing to it lately?! Seems straighter. Or like brushed. A dedicated room makes all the difference. I waited many years to eventually be able to sort out a sound proofed studio space and it is so liberating. I dont worry about the neighbours anymore and can continue playing late into the night if I want to. Enjoy your new space. Looking forward to the work you are going to produce from here on in.
