In Claude syndrome, hemiparesis is not present. It's seen in Weber's and Benedicts.

My MRA in 2017 was "normal" HOWEVER now looking at those results again I see Conclusion of "persistent fetal origin of the right posterior cerebral artery but no evidence for intracranial stenosis or aneurysm" However, I can say I am having issues now with complete off balance feeling, dizziness, weakness in legs and I have had a few episodes of this weird kaleidoscope aura in right eye. I can not find any explanation on how this is normal? Everything I am reading leads to TIA or stroke? How can that Neurologist dismiss this and not even tell me that I should be attentive to any issues in the future because this finding may cause TIA or stroke??

I had similar issues for months finally had testing only to reveal I have been having mild strokes . after no help from doctors I found out that my use of erythritol was the cause . I hope this helps.

Please consult an expert neurosurgeon for any possible cranial bypass / intervention to restore vision. It might not be successful 100% times but might be worth trying!
