I 100% feel you. I get really bad nighttime anxiety with a million overwhelming thoughts that don't make it at all easy to fall asleep. To me it is comparable to Christmas time when i was little. you go to bed but still hear the adults talking and laughing and it's soothing in a weird &indescribable type of way.

I've been to the Key West several times. I've also been to Fantasy Festival. I totally agree with Rhett and his wife. So much body positivity, it's really a freeing thing. I would honestly recommend going to Key West whenever possible. So much to see, the architecture of the old buildings, seeing the locals and hearing their stories. Everyone is always so friendly! The food is fantastic. It's absolutely wonderful.

i did not realize that there were so many people who fall asleep to ear biscuits 😅 to be fair, i had to stop because im a VERY VIVID dreamer and could still hear the podcast when i’m dreaming (which is really bizarre btw… the things they say occur in the dream but it’s fuzzier and weird, i could rewind the podcast when i’m awake and remember exactly what they said from the dream). that in itself is fine, kinda fun, like guided dreaming. but when it’s time to wake up, my brain is thrown off by still being able to “hear” the dream, and long story short it made my sleep paralysis worse lol

My husband and I went to Key west as a 24 and 29 year old. It was one of the most fun vacations we ever had. 10/10 recommend flying monkeys! Loved the older population. The lack of a younger crowd was awesome. Everyone was SO nice and chill. Had so much fun!

Having lived/live in Key West I loved hearing about all the places Rhett went to. I’d love to find out which restaurants you guys went to bc there are a ton that have amazing food. Also highly recommend venturing up the Keys and seeing some of the state parks and going snorkeling at the reefs, specifically Looe Key Reef

My husband and I were in Key West the weekend before you for his 50th birthday! First time there for both of us. We did do the drive from the Miami airport and it was beautiful. Glad you and your wife had fun Rhett! My girlfriend and I visited Key West back in August. Missed you by about three months lol. Definitely a place full of nooks and crannies. There is a Mel Fisher maritime museum there, it’s a pretty cool spot. If you go back you should check it out.

This is so ironic. My wife and I went to key west on October 18th through the 20th. For our anniversary. We were disappointed by the beach. We thought it was a beautiful white sandy beach but it was mainly a fishing town. We did have fun and drink too much. We tracked our steps and turned out we walked all the way around the island over our stay. Wish we could've saw you. But you was there the week after. Plus we're 33 and it was our 9th anniversary

the wife and I's first double kayak trip lasted about 10 minutes in Maryland. We started paddling out, she couldnt comprehend the syncing of paddling, I got out and walked us to shore. It was god awful. Our only other time was in the Caribbean where there was a floating bar out in the bay. She didnt get a paddle that time. I paddled us out but then had to coax her into getting out of the kayak so we could sit down at the bar.

Fantasy Fest IS crazy but CROWDED. If you go when it's not covid restricted, you'll be on a 6 sq mile island with thousands of people. The crowd to watch the parade will be packed body-to-body. This year most events were canceled. (FYI: there's still plenty to enjoy in Key West without Fantasy Fest.) 🐓
