Gumball was the best thing ever invented IMO. This just made it indispensable. I was super depressed constraints was moved on to Rhino 9 but this is makes all forgiven. 😉

Thank you - excelent explanation. There is one video on youtube "CAMERA JIB CRANE- A Custom Camera Rig!" by PunkerBuilds (those guy made project in Rhino on high speed). It would be awesome if someone make an educational video with similar construction (crane consist with welded pipes, plates, bolts and nuts).

They are yes, we wanted to add some of the PushPull functionality directly on the Gumball as well :)

Is there any way to toggle between snappy dragging and smooth dragging while using the gumball to move objects?

You'd need to write a custom keyboard Alias in Options to do that... "! _GumballSettings S Enter" will work.

lol, I don't know but manipulator objects are common throughout 3D modeling apps. What's not common is that they all work the same way. I hope this tutorial helps with Rhino's.

The Extruder ball is now showing in the rhino 8 gumball. How can i fix that?

If the extrude handle doesn't show up, the selection can't be extruded in that direction. Post a screenshot and 3dm of what you had selected to discourse.mcneel.com/ if you need more help.

My Gumball is not showing a Cut handle. All other features are visible. Is there a setting that I need to change?

The cut handle will only show if the selected curve is planar, check that first and use the scale handle on the GB itself or SetPt to flatten it if needed. Post to the user forum with the curve and object you wish to cut if it isn't working please. discourse.mcneel.com/

Tap the Alt (Option on Mac) key instead of holding it to make the copy during the extend.

Hi, I believe RiR v2 will be after a .Net change in Revit in 2025. For now you can use RiR v1 in Rhino 8 if you access the RiR daily builds for the WIP. See discourse.mcneel.com/t/rhino-startup-problem/168973/7

Not all of it no... the relocation method of double clicking, split/cut handle, key combo tooltips, extend option, extrude open vs. closed, sub-object mouse over highlighting are all new in v8.
