I just got a hold of the Halloween for my 16 Pro Max in rustic brown and they have a new limited edition old Dublin, Wayne, which I think is absolutely stunning Especially since I have the desert titanium phone.

Thanks, Jason! The JellyTint cases are cute and protective, and with the new RE Texture option, they have a bit more grip. But they are still not grippy, so do keep that in mind. But as long as you are good with that, the JellyTint is an awesome choice.😊

I think the new RE: Texture JellyTint is a great improvement on the regular JellyTint because it adds a little bit of grip, cuts down on fingerprints, and generally looks cool. Big fan! Great video I have been a solidsuit user for a few years now and just ordered a pixel 9. I contacted Rhinoshield and they said the texture on the new iphone 16 cases is the same as the pixel 9. I know its hard to explain, but are you impressed with the new textured material. in the video it looks a little closer to a silicone case, I think Rhinoshield said it is now TPE. More grip would be a bonus, are you happy. The other case I am strongly considering is a Mous limitless. If you had a choice between those two, do you have a preference. Thanks

Hi Paul! I don't have any experience with any Pixel cases, so I can't speak to those. For the iPhone 16 Pro SolidSuit, it is indeed TPE as it has been for a few years, but they added some texture to the exterior back and sides this year and it gives you a bit of grip. It doesn't feel like silicone...it has a drier, more textured feel. I would never call it grippy, but it has enough texture to not feel slippery. Last year's SolidSuit cases (for the 15 series) were completely smooth and I found them to be really slippery. The ones for the iPhone 16 series are a definite improvement in my opinion. I haven't gotten a chance to check out this year's Mous Limitless cases...they are supposedly in the mail to me. But compared to last year's Mous cases, I'd say the 16 Pro SolidSuit is less grippy. Mous Limitless cases are very nice choices as well (based on my past years experience with them), but I wish Mous would come out with an actual drop rating for its cases. They just say they are 'extreme', but never give them any drop height rating. Hope this helps!

I'm quite apalled about the price Rhinoshield sell those cases, I will never put more than $30-35, as for the spigen cases, they are always proposed at a very reasonable price ($20 average)!

Hi @Rjl41! Thanks for taking the time to comment. I’ve experienced a lot of different cases and case brands as a reviewer, and there are definitely differences between them. RhinoShield offers a lot of value, in my opinion. And while I haven’t checked out any products from Spigen for quite a few years, I didn’t find that Spigen cases were at the same level as RhinoShield cases.

How heavy are these cases? I bought the Mod NX case from Rhinoshield for my iPhone 16 Pro, but it‘s a little bit too heavy for me. Now I‘m looking for a more lighter phone case.

I don't have an actual weight, but I'd say they are all pretty similar. I don't find them to be heavy, but if you find the Mod NX to be heavy, then you might have a similar opinion about the JellyTint. I think the SolidSuit feels slightly lighter, though.

The JellyTint is pretty slippery, but the new Re Texture option helps the back of the case be a bit less slippery. It doesn’t do anything for the sides, however. If you are looking for a grippy case, than the JellyTint is not a good choice.

Hi Kristen Alicia here I’m thinking about getting a rhinoshield case I’m trying to decide between the clear case or the jelly tint with with re:Texture. Now this would be last years model of cases. Would the clear case have the same amount of grip as the jelly tint. Preferably the sides is where I would want to know. My guess the side of both have the same material. Would the clear be a little more grippy on the sides?

Hi Alicia!! The Clear and the JellyTint are exactly the same material, as far as I can tell. And they really do not have much grip at all. With the RE Texture option (which I’m not sure is available for the iPhone 15 series), you get a little more texture for the back, but nothing for the sides. If you need a grippy case, neither the Clear or the JellyTint is a good choice…

I haven’t yet come across the magic clear case with nice grip that doesn’t yellow.😢 I do have a CASETiFY clear case coming sometime this week…I can let you know how slippery it is (although my hopes are not high!). Re:Texture helps to give a little more grip on the back, but not the sides. ZAGG’s Crystal Palace is worth considering…it has grip lines on the sides. I haven’t seen this year’s version, but my brother got it for his 16 Pro and was pleased.

@@TheTechReviewer thanks my dear I really appreciate it. I have never been able to find a perfect clear case just so many cons that outweigh the pros so I don’t buy many. But I understand why people want them especially if you have a nice gorgeous color of phone. It’s really the only way to appreciate it other then going caseless which I would love to do the phones are just to darn slippery.
