In this video, I give you a tour of the features and sounds of the Rhodes V8 plugin. This is the first plugin from the Rhodes brand and it gives you the sound of the brand new Rhodes MK8. Its got lots of features including EQ, Vari-Pan, Chorus, Phaser, Delay, and you can get under the hood to tweak the sound in interesting ways. This is a demo of the Rhodes V8 Pro plugin. A cheaper version of the Rhodes V8 plugin will also be available at some point. I’ll keep you posted on the Rhodes V8 plugin.

Wow, I don't think a better Rhodes plugin exists. Loving the individual note parameters. You can make it sound just like real ones where a few of the tines have gone out of tune over the years. Nice. 👍😄

That's a very nice overview of this new plugin and comparing it to the real one! Personally, having Arturia's V Collection, I'll stick with this one for now. I will try Rhodes' V8 trial, but starting that this sound is not my favorite to begin with, I probably won't dish out for the full version, but definitely worth a try!

Nice walk-through, thank you Sanjay. Grand piano vs. authentic Rhodes piano in my small home? Have a guess. ;-) Plus, there are so many great sounding sampled grand piano instruments available, but less outstanding sampled Rhodes instruments, and this new Rhodes piano made by Rhodes seems to be over-the-top excellent. I would definitely be interested in purchasing their software-based Rhodes, ya hear, Rhodes company? Keep up the great work, Sanjay.

Very nice! It is stuff like this that really makes me want to get a full, weighted key bed, and get better at playing. That said, I would definitely take Rhodes over a full piano. Not just because of the size and versatility, but I have really been favoring epiano lately. The Fantom has a decent selection, but nothing like this. Great work! ☕

Rhodes are bit late to the game considering Arturia and many other brands have made very good emulsions already. I have the Aturia one and I dont really see the point of geting this one. My honest opinion.
