I think I'm going to break with tradition and try the TWSBI pocket notebook when I switch next time. It's the same size as my moleskine but with better paper.

@@WhiteGloveReviews I got to researching right now and have to say it's an attractive notebook said to be Fountain pen friendly. If you like it, I would like to know....it will make my short list for this upcoming year.

@@25hztolife86 I'm interested to try the new journal. I'm going with graph paper instead of my usual lines. I'll let you know what I think.

@@WhiteGloveReviews I have see other videos on how this product falls apart. A better more suited one is Zequenz Classic 360 Soft Cover pocket Notebook. It's flexible and has 100 GSM.

@@25hztolife86 I'll check for the Zequenz Classic. I like the look of that notebook. I'm looking at the 4 in x 5.5 inch one. I'm wondering how much of a different the half an inch will make.

double upload nice... you should've done a writing comparison between the moleskin and the rest to show the difference with bleed-through and feathering though

Thanks. :) I'm planning on doing a video where I compare the 4-5 different kinds of paper with each of the fountain pens I've tried so far to give a big overview. I have a few more pen videos coming up (including one for a compact OHTO fountain pen I really thought was cool), and after that I'll do the overview. On the feathering and bleed-through with moleskine paper, I haven't noticed any feathering with any of the pens I've tried so far. I haven't tested them out with bottled ink yet (only the cartridges) so it may become much more noticeable with that kind of ink. There is more bleed-through with the moleskine, but I haven't had feathering issues with it yet. It may also be that the pens I'm trying are all fine point or extra fine (with the Japanese ones) so this may (I'm guessing) have an effect on the flow of the ink.

lechttrum pronounciation - loik troom (best I can do without actually saying the word)

it most definetly does, when you use a western m nib you'll ruin moleskin especially if you are considering that baystate blue ink lol, but you should feel a difference when you write between the moleskin and the rhodia which you did not mispronounce btw
@DailyBanter966 жыл бұрын
well, you may call that a perk, but it won't allow you to showcase inks as nicely that have a nice sheening to them either or shading

what is the pen holder on your moleskin?
@WhiteGloveReviews6 жыл бұрын
It's a moleskine pocket toolbelt. They are out of stock (or crazily expensive) on Amazon. There's one here on a UK site: gb.moleskine.com/tool-belt-grey/p0441 Make sure you get the right size for your notebook. I'm using the pocket size one for my notebook.
