I'm 71 years old .live in the Netherlands and it's sad to hear that all the country singers that I grew up listening to will soon be gone. There are not much country singers now todays that sing country like it should be. I like the songs by Rhonda or Gene. I can't understand country music what they play now. The good old country is so much better than that stuff they playing today

Gene I saw you in Springfield some years ago. MY Husband of 50 years passed 9 years ago this past April. His mother & Aunt was with us. As lol 5hree of them are gone now. While I agree with you that there doesn't seem to be any REAL country singers coming out of Nashville anymore, there are still several that are based in Texas that are doing some great traditional country. Just to name a few... Amber Digby, Dottie Jack, Justin Trevino, Bobby Flores, Miss Leslie and her Juke Jointers, Jake Hooker, and more. Check them out and see what you think.
