I’ve recorded every one of the Chelsea offerings this week and up to date with watching them. BORING! Where are the PLANTS??? I’ve not felt inspired or excited as I usually do with Chelsea. The gardens are full of weeds, over elaborate (and overly expensive) constructions and too much lovey duvey gushy interviews. Every show is a repeat of the others. Let ITV present the show next year…we need something different….and let the powers-that-be know they need to up their game

The interview with Judy Dench was very brief and, although we all adore her, all she said was that her garden consists of a great number of trees planted to commemorate her lost friends. The whole world knew this about 5 years ago, probably longer
