So for lava golem you tribute your opponent's monsters to special summon the monster the your opponent's side of the field and because it is considered a special summon you can use the Scapegoat tokens, because Scapegoat just says that they can't be tributed for a normal or a set summon, I know it's been awhile since this video was posted but I thought I'd clarify for anyone who wondered why that worked.
