See now this is what i wanted to see! Story wise i mean. That instead of you fighting as your main character, You fight as the original crew like gohan for example after that fight finishes your character should show up and have their back. It's hard to say but besides that, Originally this is what i want to see happen with the story as you play as the main characters first and when the distortion occurs or when a prevention needs to happen that's when your character will jump in and to take it from there

Look for changes in timeline tp trunks can still go back in time to tell goku about heart virus as he knows about future and give him the cure and since he can go ssj2 he will have to hold back the whole time and still make sure events in the past occur as intended as for other things future gohan will continue training future trunks and will eventually get him his ssj and real problems might start during the black goku saga only..
