I used to really adore the Russian's routine. However, this time around, their mix apparatus did not show a dramatic impact compared to their routines in Beijing 2008, London 2012 & Rio 2016. For three consecutive olympics, the choreography and routine were so pushing the envelope. Their hoops & clubs mix in Beijing was to die for!

The Russian group routines were already a mess in 2016 - sloppy choreography and even worse execution. It is beyond me why do they condone that mediocrity in their group team when they have such a deep bench of top individual gymnasts that is unmatched by any other country.

@@QQ-wl6yt tbh i really liked their routine in rio, after that their 2017 and 2018 2019 routines are good too. But this year it’s so full of difficulty that i cannot keep up, it’s not like the bulgarian routine that even with speed and difficulty they are not messy. I guess because it’s full of difficulty they keep making a mistake, they even always switch gymnasts i don’t know why unlike bulgaria theyre consistent.

The podium for group was so right. Bulgaria was unrivaled that night. For individual, I still can not accept that you could get a gold with mistakes just like I didn’t believe in Rio that you could get a silver medal with so many mistakes while the bronze was flawless. I am happy for Harnasko who has been through so much hardships to get there. RG became so complicated to follow that it wouldn’t be surprising if it got thrown out of the OG. Someone who’s not familiar with the sport wouldn’t be able to understand why some win and some don’t. Reform the code this is becoming ridiculous. Also shame on Irina Viner for being so upset while she has taken advantage on the unfairness of the sport for years. Especially since she helped the first place with her training. And shame on Irina Deriugina for putting down her own girls. Ukraine hasn’t been able to qualify two gymnasts since London, Pohranychna and Onopriienko were incredible far more than her beloved Mazur who couldn’t even qualify and yet she never treated her this way.

@Y Yu Dont get me wrong. I never said Dina should have won, in fact, I think her performance was either a silver or a bronze. Just because I think Linoy shouldn’t have gotten the gold, doesn’t mean I wanted one of the Russians to get it as well. And I agree for 2018 and for Timochenko and as well for Kanaeva in the ribbon final in Mie 2009 and so on. You guys are so focused on this Linoy versus Averinas narrative that you don’t consider the fact that some people like me, are team neither and think that both are highly overrated. The difference of difficulty between Linoy and let’s say, Harnasko isn’t that big when you compare. It’s not a Biles versus the rest of the world situation. You should be able to compensate with better execution. However this is not valued. The sport become a show of trucks one after the others. Even Ukraine, who is usually praised for the elegance of their gymnasts seems bland now.

@Elu Misael Pascual Tapia I know the COP, I know how it works and yet you are all so blinded by the fact that a non-Russian won that you think that the judgement was still fair. I’ve read a lot of your comments on RG vidéos and I agree most of the times with what you say, and I know that you wish for the sport to be fairer but this is just fairy dust thrown into our faces to make us think that the FIG isn’t corrupt in its judging. Look at all the communication they’re doing to contradict Viner’s words. Where were they in Mie when they stole the Gold from Bessonova for the ribbon final ? Or even in Rio when there was controversy around the fact that Kudryatseva managed to get silver despite having bad routines. tMark my word, Paris 2024 will still be won by a Russian. I haven’t read the new COP yet but I hope it’s not as bad as this one because it leaves too much space for unfairness or even wrong judging.

There is no Linoy Ahshram in this vid. Btw, Dina Averinas and actually all other girls performances looks nicer than Linoys, bc Linoy has such a big rip cage, wide pelvis, no flat belly and short o- shaped legs. There is a reason why they normally in every other country select delecately limbed girls for these kind of sport.🤷🏼‍♀️

Even though this isn’t the ind final i’m still gonna say that DINA AVERINA DESERVED THE GOLD MEDAL. Underscored! Her routine was perfect and no mistakes. Linoy could never get in front of her during big event wc, wch, wchc, gp, ech without dina having a mistake and dina did perfect here. It was absurd scoring and to think that her score is always 28-29 points but here she was underscored! Give that gold to dina! And also congratulations to my favorite group Bulgaria for winning the gold!

And i’m just gonna add that dinas ribbon routine was always at 24 -25 points! She was the best at ribbon! That perfect ribbon routine is not a 24.00! If she was judged properly she would have won gold!
