She knows the gymnasts’ routines so well, what they did during qualifications or previous competitions, she immediately picks up the connections that they missed. These commentators are the ONLY ones who fully explained who Simone is, what actually happened to her, (defining the twisties, and why she could not perform other routines) and what a champion she is regardless of the results in this competition. The male commentator even said, "all informed spectators", rightly pointing out that no one who knows anything about gymnastics faulted her for withdrawing from the team competition. NBC commentators, gymnasts themselves, were negligent at best. They could have explained so much better.

So glad to see Simone Biles compete and win a bronze medal! If you think about it, the beam is 10cm (5 inches) thick! So it must be so tricky to stay on. When I was 10, I used to do a gymnastics club on a Wednesday! I remember falling of the beam and banging my head on it. IT HURTS A LOT! So this girls are so amazing to do what they do on it! Great job all! 🥇🇨🇳 🥈🇨🇳 🥉🇺🇸 👏
Xijings did a beautiful execution on her routine, I think she deserved the gold medall. The winner made it great but the mistakes were more evidents on her routine and the japanesse girl was my favourite one, what a creative routine, very fancy jumps, really fluit, just one dismise on one balance movement. And one more think, I’m agree is a several pression on their minds, but the fellowship is so important and the girl in last place didn’t show anything of respect or gratitude on the support rivals.
