@liukin953 жыл бұрын
@Themarvelouss No you're missing the point. Had gymnasts like Vanessa Ferrari, Mai Murakami, Jess Gadirova or Gelya Melnikova for example had the same type of choreography as Jade, they would never have gotten as close as within 3 tenths of Jade in the final. Jade won based on her difficult tumbling alone, had she not had the difficult tumbling she wouldn't have even medaled. But the reason why the gymnasts I listed got so close is because whilst they were behind Jade on difficulty, they had great choreography and interpretation. Choreography is just as important as difficulty, it's not part of a floor routine for no reason.

Jade did the most extreme and hardest jumps and is therefore the deserved winner for me. She was floating through the air, as it were. There she made the difference, although she wasn't the most artistic, her acrobatics were just amazing!!!

The sport is artistic gymnastics, not acrobatics. Frankly, it was not the best routine if you take into consideration acrobatics, amplitude, form, choreography and virtuosity.

American gymnastics focas on tumbles than art
@vanessaruiz47053 жыл бұрын
she was cringey all the time she was not tumbling. I mean, is it really that hard to show a little bit of grace? I thought no one could be worse than Tweedle in that respect but Jade proved that wrong. And before someone says something stupid, I was rooting for US to win, so dont try to go there. I am just saying that Jade is the least graceful gymnast on floor I've ever seen and that is something she could easily improve but she just doesnt care, which is wrong. And I'd rather have someone else winning. Someone who takes floor routine seriously in all its aspects. Biles for instance does awesome tumbling and also shows some grace on floor. Nothing too complicated or ballerina-like but... i dont know...at least she doesnt look like she is sleeping when she is not tumbling.

I'm just happy for Melnikova and Murakami that they got rid of that tiebreaker leaving one of them on the podium. I remember the bars final in Beijing. It is way better this way.

The sportsmanship between these gymnasts is beautiful, and gives me hope for the rest of the world. You didn't see that at the Olympics before, especially between America and Russia. But the level of respect they have for their fellow athletes makes my heart happy

Jade Carey has been my favorite gymnast this quad along with Suni Lee. I honestly have no words to articulate just how happy I am for her; she worked so hard and persevered after what happened on vault and finally got the gold medal moment she so deserved. GO JADE!!
@vanessaruiz47053 жыл бұрын
not saying she didnt work hard but how comes she doesnt give a ... about coreography? i mean... just showing a tiny little bit of grace on floor can't be that difficult. She looked dead all the time she wasn't tumbling. And dont get me wrong, I was rooting for US but there is a reason why there is music on floor routines and jade is not taking it seriously.

@deepeshmathuria2 жыл бұрын
@@askan300 don't bother talkin' to this human, she has copy pasted same comment hating on Jade, they don't understand that routines are structured individually and not everyone is a dancer/natural at dance movements and they make up for it in tumbling but explaining this to this person is like telling a cow to research DNA.
@pedrojorge19123 жыл бұрын
I'm happy. In despite of whoever won, we had 7 finalists that managed to execute hard tumblings, and also showed their personalities and all the artistry parts that Code demands, on their own styles, ranging from 'Swan Lake' to 'Baile de Favela'. It means the sport is indeed in a good path.
