Here is a cheap tip for you. Toilet bowl cleaner cleans stains and rust off fiber glass like nothing else.

What materials can you heat weld and what not? Isn't a tube that's heat welded better and stronger?

You can heat weld PVC

@@AlfredMontaner It seams that heat welding is stronger than glue. That's why I'm sort of asking in a round about way because I didn't want to type out a long letter. I'm looking for an aluminum V-bottom inflatable rib that's made in the USA with USA materials. I just found out that the Brig is made in the Ukraine which is OK. At least there not a communist country but I'd rather support my boys at home in the USA. What are my options on a very nicely built rib tender with an aluminum hull and that's made in the good old US of A and that's approximately 10 feet long?
