This is a great exercise to learn how to breathe 360 degrees using your diaphragm muscle.
Your diaphragm plays several roles and must be able to play a role with mobility and stability. When the diaphragm is stuck, it can be difficult to breathe into your ribs.
This exercise focused on breathing into your lower ribs, which helps lengthen the diaphragm.
