Great video like always keep them coming I just started in the commercial industry. Did a transition from residential to commercial now dealing with a lot of building management controls. See a lot of these relays. Thank you for the great information. Very grateful.🙏🏻

what is the difference between a RIB relay and the the others?

Not a whole lot. I see (or have seen) the RIB used in more commercial settings. The LED is a nice visual reference in a mechanical room and it was designed to mount to a junction box.

Would this work for a boiler that heats 2 rooms that has a duct work fan that is on 24/7 controlled by a circuit breaker ....like to tie into the thermostat wires at the boiler then to the relay to turn on the fan when heat is called for by the thermostat ?

I am sure you could make it work. I had a teacher one time that told me to think about what I wanted to happen, sit down and draw it. Problem solved and now you have a diagram to make it happen. I bet you could do that in this situation.

I use a lot of them and keep a good stock on my van. One of the best features is that they are multi voltage for the signal wire because they operate off of a LED beam which energizes the switch mechanism. Who teaches HVAC/R in a room without a thermostat cover?

Believe it or not, I have been waiting to see if anyone noticed that cover. I do need to fix it. I wish I had some sort of door prize or something to give out. That RIB is a good relay for many things and they are fairly easy to understand.

I really don't have that much experience with the duct cleaning side of the field. The only thing I would be able to do is start looking up reviews for different machines and do a lot of research before buying. I'll try to ask around some and see if I can get any further info to pass along to you.
