Exposed the area may be, but the long, open views of the valley, viaduct and the dramatic sky make this walk a really memorable experience. It's nice to see a walk away from the madding crowds and traffic, where the peaceful solitude gives you time to reflect and soak up the atmosphere. Such a beautiful walk, I'm so glad you do these walks. Before I became housebound with ME I loved walking, miss it alot amd these really make me feel like I'm almost out there! I attempted the 3 peaks in my 20's, and made it as far as the carpark you started at here, always wanted to go up to the viaduct and check it out. Loved seeing Whernside again and the stunning countryside around there. Hopefully one day I'll make it back, and do the other half. But for now these videos are my nature walks, and very happy they make me!
