Thanks Jean. Yes, I'm the same, picking armfuls of bluebells to put in a milk bottle vase for Grandma. I know we have to protect our wild spaces, but I know that being able to do that when I was a child, gave me such an appreciation for nature as a whole. I think you'll like Sunday's bird... :)

Oh my goodness. Thank you so much Delphine. I really appreciate that. I'm so happy you were inspired to rescue your projects. I seem to have to rescue mine quite often as my ideas change in the middle of a project even! I always think of a mistake more as an opportunity to do something different. It might be better than the original...or not. But trying is good for creativity. I'm so pleased you liked watching.

I loved the blue bells even you didn't paint them. But after painting they look so much more real. The "paint"you use are those a kind of chalk crayons? I don't know the English word. Looks like the white crayons teachers used at school I use them to color Fimo clay but never for fabric. I always paint with acryl and lots of water. When you iron it, you can wash the fabric. I think that is not possible with the crayons. But you don't wash a book. 😃Have a nice weekend
@marionsworld24
@marionsworld24 Жыл бұрын
Here is a link to what they are Marjan. They're a soluble ink originally made for paper. But I really like the way I can use them on fabric. I used to just use acrylic paint as you say, watered down, but these are very lovely to use. The colours are brighter and you can mix them just like watercolours. Iwww.amazon.co.uk/Derwent-2300442-Watercolour-Professional-Multicolour/dp/B004QQ5I06/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?adgrpid=56046652987&hvadid=606263087997&hvdev=m&hvlocphy=1006526&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=e&hvrand=10569742496545977990&hvtargid=kwd-295613812533&hydadcr=21597_2292072&keywords=inktense+blocks&qid=1697655098&sr=8-1

People do use them like crayons. If you look online for tutorials for them, it's mostly people colouring in and then using water to blend. They are ink though, so they're colourfast.

I’m careful with writing because I hate to mar the page or the sentiment. Alas, I make mistakes. I hate that moment when I have to choose what to do: leave it, scratch it out, begin it again, patch it, make it somehow look purposeful. The hardest part is to admit I’m only human and to remember it’s not brain surgery. The page is wonderful! I really like your script style. Your sweater is very pretty. Hey, it just occurred to me “sweater” is literal. Huh! The more you know . . .
@marionsworld24

I really couldn't believe I made that mistake. On camera too! I mostly just let it go straight away. Worse things happen at sea as the saying goes. I look at it as an opportunity, for being creative, for altering my plan, for just doing whatever it takes really. It's how I learn to do better hopefully...
