I bought almost all your books before 22 years ... and yesterday also I made ribbon murukku using the recipe from above said book. Mam we tried pokodam in the design thattu. It is breaking. What could be the reason. We cleaned the thattu holes nicely.

If you add sesame seeds it may not come down through the holes.Knead again with sprinkling little more water .

If it is organic, cold pressed oil it will come like that.To prevent it add very little Tamarind, fry for a while, take out and then continue.you will be able to fry without froth.
