I do appreciate Ric Flair "owning" his past. In order to move forward and change is to acknowledge the mistakes you made. We all wanted to be Ric Flair when we were growing up. When I threw a strike-out I did the Ric Flair "woo!" afterward. I have a buddy who still does the Ric Flair "woo!" and we are both closing in on 50. One of the biggest issues with a certain type of born again is they were assholes before, and their conversion gives them cover to be assholes going forward. It’s their personality type rather than the religion and unfortunately what you end up with is a perpetual jerk who makes bad choices looking for spiritual cover and finding it. Life is hard. Due respect to Tully, Lex, or Shawn Michaels religion doesn’t erase who you are or what you’ve done now. Lex at the very least seems to have done it the right way. Tully needed to understand and probably still didn’t seem to understand his actions affected more people than himself.

A decent man should never reveal what somebody else did if they engaged in the activity under the assumed collective idea of confidentiality, even if that means he will spend time in jail by not revealing things done under the "code". Having said that, the flip side is that a man should always expect any of his actions or deeds to be revealed, regardless of the expectation of privacy. Moral of the story, don't do anything that you don't want to have to answer for somewhere down the road, because more than likely, you probably will have to. Naturally, things such as doctor/patient relationships, lawyer confidentiality, things done in the bedroom, etc have an expectation of privacy both legally and morally, but outside of those parameters and a few others, don't do anything unless you're prepared to answer for it or for it to become common knowledge in the future.
