@@Hadite84 Russ (Ballard) wrote and recorded it first on his Solo album "Winning" three years earlier (1976) - Referring to „Since You’ve Been Gone“.

@@tieukhavu8832 that's what I was getting at, Russ wrote and recorded them back in mid-70's, and had minor success with them, but Rainbow (i.e. Ritchie took them to a whole new level) I think these were probably the songs that Ritchie put to the band and Ronnie infamously said I ain't singing no F***ing love songs as he walked out the door!! LOL :)
