⏩Ingredients for the rice balls (28 Pieces):
3 Cups of Cooked Rice (541 gr) or 1 Cup of Raw Rice (150 to 175 gr).
50 gr of Parmesan Cheese (5 Tbsp).
50 gr of grated cheese to melt (5 Tbsp, gouda, mozarella, manchego, chihuaha).
50 gr of Cream Cheese (2 Tbsp).
100 to 114 gr of Ham (5 Slices).
1 Tbsp fresh chopped parsley or cilantro.
1 tsp dry parsley or any spice you like.
Salt and pepper to taste if necessary.
To bread:
1/2 cup of all-purpose flour or as needed.
1 cup of breadcrumbs.
1/4 tsp of ground Paprika.
1/4 tsp Garlic Powder.
1 Tbsp of Parmesan Cheese.
2 Eggs + 2 Tbsp Milk + 1 Pinch of Salt.
To fill:
Cheese cubes (To melt or Cream Cheese (the type of the laughing cow)).
⏩Tips and Recommendations:
1. Use left over rice, you can even use boiled rice and later mix with fresh or dry onion and garlic.
2. Use the spices that you like the most to season.
3. Remember that the temperature of your oil should be between 175 to 180 C but if you don't have a thermometer just check with a wooden stick, they should be a lot of bubbles around it that means the oil is hot enough, don't put so many balls to cook at the same time because the temperature of the oil can drop and regulates the temperature between medium to medium high.
