I also want to note I had no idea about flax seed retaining more heat that's amazing 🤩 and I also like to put mine in the freezer and use them for ice packs I have made some for dogs as well for the summer time

Do you microwave the cover too? If so how does the velcro work in microwave?

I do and have never had any issues. I have another with plastic buttons I’ve used for years too

Can I put lavender oil or something in there, to take away a bit of the barn smell?
@ArtistTaraReed
@ArtistTaraReed 9 ай бұрын
I don't see why not. Not sure how much you'd need to take away the barn smell from the flax seed - let me know if you figure out a good ratio of lavender / flax seed!

Whole or ground flax seed?
@ArtistTaraReed
@ArtistTaraReed Ай бұрын
I use whole flax seed. I don't know that ground would hold the heat as well...

Do you heat it up first then put it in the casing?
@ArtistTaraReed
@ArtistTaraReed Жыл бұрын
No - I just put it in the casing! Just don’t use minute rice or it might cook in the bag 😮

Which thread do you use, cotton or polyester
@ArtistTaraReed
@ArtistTaraReed Жыл бұрын
You want to use cotton since it will go in the microwave
