Rice in the Crock Pot

I forgot to come back! I was so enjoying my rice that I forgot that I said I would come back and state how it worked. It worked very well! I did more than one cup so it took about a half an hour longer to cook in my crock pot, but it WAS fluffy! AND, when I had some again tonight, after heating it up, it was still fluffy! I've never had success cooking rice until now! THANK YOU GRANDMA!

Thanks, I took your advice and came out great. Also, I forgot to rinse and it still came out great. I don't get it, but your method works. I forked it and honestly, it was better than the rice cooker. I used a 3 quart 10-dollar Hamilton Beach slow cooker.

This is a perfect slow cooker method to cook rice! Other methods I have found on called for 2-3 hours on high with a different rice to water ratio with terrible results. This one hits the nail on the head! Thank you so much Grandma!

I finally tried this in my crock pot. It took a lot longer than 1 hour but my crock pot is only a 1.5 quart size. I don't think it gets very hot even on the hight setting. It finally did work and the rice was delicious. Thank you for your video

I tried cooking rice in crock pot as part of a chicken dinner but it went mushy. I have a problem with cooking rice tend to use microwave rice atm but will give this method of cooking rice a go. I don't use my crock pot as much as I could b would love more crock pot recipes xx

I just got on the internet to figure out how to make rice in a crock pot for my dinner tonight. A friend gave me a bunch of beans, so I thought I'd try it. I'll see you in about an hour, and let you know how it turned out!
