@@NoFace-ke9pc Being an interim head coach isn't the same thing as being an actual NFL head coach Most interims don't even get contracts, especially considering anyone available during the season probably isn't qualified (Good people are already on other teams) I'm a Colts fan, it's obvious we were tanking. We gutted the offensive staff, benched the starting QB, then hired someone with no experience. Classic tank job, and it worked. Idk wtf the Lakers are doing.

Jeff Saturday was never given a HC contract. He just took over as an interim on a season we already gave up on. It's not as dumb as people like you act. If he got a new contract, then it'd be worth mocking, but it really wasn't that crazy. Colts now have a top 10 HC, easy.

To be completely fair though, JJ has been through the fire in that regard.. if you remember back to his Duke days, he was one of the more hated athletes I’ve ever seen.. and his response to that was part of why I’ve been a fan since then.. he’s got that dawg in him.. I think him not giving af is pretty sincere.. And obviously a different scenario here, but it’s like with anything, if you stay focused on the task at hand, you have a better chance of reaching the goal.. plus, guys like JJ and Lebron would be way more let down by not getting there than by boos or media scrutiny.. that’s what confidence and self-criticism/improvement can do.. imho at least
