It’s no joke just to coach the Greatness of a player just being there you can tell your grands and future generations to come what the real question is can he handle it. Does he have the great mind to bring the team to greatness . My opinion Coach Hurley feels he does have it furthermore is a greater lost to himself. He will now be known as the the little train that could not make it🤦🏽‍♂️❤️🫵🏽👍🏽

A smart person or dare I say, a wise person would understand that the offer made to Hurley was nonsense, to appease the Lakers fans that they made an attempt to lure the best college basketball coach to the NBA, when in reality, their real head coaching target is Redick or Borrego, and you can only get one of them hired, and the decision not lambasted by the fans and the media, if you get a NO from Hurley first. Not many people are wise.

Lakers don't wanna pay for coaches. But because they keep changing coaches every 2 years, they always have 2 or 3 coaches on the payroll at a time. They could just combine that money and pay a premier coach. Probably would end up saving money.

The decision is a no-brainer. Slightly lower taxes, greater respect from admin and student athletes, less media exposure, shorter season, and he can have occasional sub-par season and not have to worry about job security. Plus, he will always be able to recruit a stacked team.

People need to wake up and realize the Lakers' front office is the problem. Rob has blown so many draft picks. He lowballed yet another great coaching candidate. How does the premier franchiae of the league have no money and act like it's a mom and pop shop? If the Yankees looked like this, fans would boycott or ask for the team to be sold.

LeBron is a problem but not the main problem. The franchise has been a mess ever since Dr. Buss passed in 2013. Thos will be the 8th coach since Phil retired in 2011. The team blew 4 straight years of lottery picks in the top 7. The fact the biggest franchise in the league doesn't have money and continues to lowball great coaching candidates is wild. There was nothing historic about offering Hurley the 6th highest paid coach. LeBron isn't perfect, but this front office is trash

Dude this goes beyond the Westbrook trade. The Lakers have been poorly run for over a decade. Any team that misses on 4 straight years of lottery picks isn't doing a good job. The best player they picked was Randle, and he isn't even on the team anymore. They chose Lonzo over Tatum. Would they even be relevant if LeBron didn't decide to go there?
