I think you would have liked psychedelics. Very low dosage and see how that worked. Its possible to travel somewhere where it is not illegal and enjoy it on a safe beautiful environment, preferable in nature. I hate alcohol too, and agree about the calories. Psychedelics can used respectfully be spiritual, enhance music and art experience and make you think about life in a deep psychological way. In case of bad trips, they can happen, thats why its not a good idea doing anything alone or take too high dosage especially when very new to such substances. Psychedelics are not considered being addictive. Adults should have had options on mind enhancing substances other than alcohol which is not spiritual or enhancing your awareness. Its a human right crime how psychedelics have been demonised. As a person interested in psychology there is lots of research on the therapeutic potential of these substances especially for terminal ill patients.
