Rich Mullins was the very embodiment of christ like men. I was going to his concert the day he died. He was on his way here. I will forever remember the moment I heard he had been killed in the accident. He is my idea of what a christian should be. His songs touch me in ways no other christian artist ever has.

@@skiddledede8885 Rich performed at a nearby church so our youth group went to see him. So incredibly grateful we did. There's a podcast on Spotify called 365 Christian Men. I agree too, the music is very powerful, I'm mesmerized by how he played that hammered dulcimer. I think back in 1995 it was the first time I saw anyone play it and although now I've seen other artists play it I've yet to find a song that's touched me like this one has. He was truly talented, a precious gift of God. What still hurts me is the way he died. 😢

I'm a simple man. I believe what RM has to say here.... I'm gonna pray now.... I pray God gives me children... I'm middle aged, but it can still happen... I pray I can deal with children.. Even if I don't get them.. As in, in church, or other capacity... Because I haven't always liked them... I pray I can return to Jesus as I should... Because I should... I pray for the absolution of sins towards those who seek Him... Jesus forgive forever those who seek you... Like the thief on the cross.... Thanks Jesus... For eternity.... I'll see you there... Amen

At end of intro, Rich talking about spirit, virtues + more, he says "that's when I believe Christianity really begins to make sense". Anyone else trust Rich 100+ % but still thinks Christianity in this world makes little sense? Maybe that's Rich's point? God makes sense, Man does Not...

The Holy Spirit lit in Rich Mullins taught me intimacy in Jesus and in His Truth. And listen to Rich’s song about: when I leave I wanna go out like Elijah with a chariot made of fire. God granted him that wish. I went to his memorial grave site and sat there for three days where there Rich was buried even though they needed dental records to verify it was actually him.

I still miss him! His music helped me so much, once I finally surrendered my life back to Christ, back in 1993! I actually felt his spirit pass through me, when I was listening to his song, Elijah. Shortly after, they announced on the radio that he'd been killed in a car accident. I look forward to worshipping with him in by the Crystal Sea in Heaven! I have lots of his CD's & I truly love Creed! "I did not make it, no, it is making me. It is the very truth of God & not the invention of any man!" Thank you Jesus! 🙌💗

So, i've recently become interested in the Catholic Church and have been learning their prayers, creeds etc. when i got to the Apostle's Creed, I was like "Hey!! i know that one!) I couldn't figure out how until this song came back to me! Then i did some research on Rich and realized he went through RCIA classes and had a deep interest in the Roman Catholics before he died. Which is awesome!

The Catholic Church believes in Baptism of desire. I believe that Rich Mullins became Catholic in his heart and went to Heaven. This song shows that he had always struggled with the desire to become Catholic. Eternal Rest grant until him, Oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him🙏🏼

He never converted to Catholic even though he attended mass on a daily basis. He wrote that song on the apostles Creed and they were not Catholic. It was the Romans that crucified Jesus. The Pope is a Luciferian. *Proof* kzbin.info/www/bejne/fqHRZHlsideVe7s God bless in Jesus precious name. 💕🕊💕

Be very careful. There are no divisions in Christ’s Church. See especially Ephesians 4:1-6, also Galatians 3:26-28, Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 2:37-39, Romans 3:19-24, and many more. Be very careful. There is only one God, His Son, and the Holy Spirit. One way-believe in God, that Jesus Christ is His only begotten Son, Who was born of a virgin, lived, died for our sin, and rose again! He is now seated at the right hand of God. What sounds good is often not Biblical and unless one is born again and has the Holy Spirit living in them, he is not saved. See 1 John 5:11-13. Please be careful! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽✝️🕊💕
